Stating that Patriotism and Piety are inextricably interlinked, TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao advocated that providing hassle-free darshan to the tens of thousands of devotees visiting Tirumala temple from across the globe is the numero uno goal of TTD.
In his I-Day speech on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day celebrations after unfurling the National Flag in TTD Parade Grounds in Tirupati on Thursday, the EO said, taking the inspirational path laid by our great National leaders, TTD is also sanctifying in the service of devotees from the past several decades since its inception. "Bringing reforms in the larger interests of the pilgrims, is a never ending process in TTD as it keeps on changing keeping in view the majority needs of the devotees according to the time", he observed.
For the benefit of the common pilgrims, we have restricted the SRIVANI Seva online quota to 1000 and enhanced the SSD tokens, to avoid long waiting hours for pilgrims. We have also improved the quality and taste of Laddu Prasadams, Annaprasadams and also ensured continuous supply of food and milk distribution to the pilgrims in the compartments and queue lines.
To upkeep the Tirumala environs clean and green, the sanitation measures have also been enhanced, the hotels and eateries in Tirumala are instructed to serve qualitative and affordable delicacies to visiting pilgrims. All these measures are a continuous process and the ultimate goal is to provide a comfortable stay, hassle free darshan and a memorable pilgrimage experience to devotees visiting Tirumala.
To achieve this goal, the EO called upon the entire TTD workforce to render more dedicated services to the devotees with team spirit and take forward the fame of the institution on a global level.
