Eminent Scholars Laud Gauripeddi works on Annamaiah Sankeertans

SVIMS Vice Chancellor Dr RV Kumar said Sri Gauripeddi Ramasubba Sharma played a stellar role in resolving the crust of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya Sankeertans for the benefit of common devotees.

He was among several Eminent literary personalities who paid rich tributes to Sri Gauripeddi Ramasubba Sharma on his 102nd Jayanti celebrations grandly organised by TTD at  Annamacharya Kala Mandiram in Tirupati on Tuesday evening.

Sri  Gauripeddi had successfully encrypted the 27 volumes of Sri Annamacharya sankeertans, the SVIMS Chief said.

Among others SVU retired acharya Dr Sarvottama Rao, Dr Gandluri Dattatreya Sharma of Dronachalam and Smt Pavani Sreelata of Hyderabad highlighted the literary links of Annamaiah sankeertan to contemporary trends of Natha Shastra and classical literature.

Dr Vibhishana Sharma, Director of the Annamacharya Project presided over the meeting in which Sri Gauripeddi Shankar Bhagavat, Sub editor Dr Narasimhacharyulu, Program assistant Smt Kokila and others were present.
