TTD Addl Eo Hails Veggies Donors

While lauding the humongous contributions of Vegetable Donors hailing from different states to TTD Annaprasadam activity from the past two decades, the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary urged them to send more varieties of veggies to serve Annaprasadam to devotees in a more delicious manner to the millions and millions of devotees thronging Tirumala throughout the year.

A meeting with vegetables donors organised by the Annaprasadam wing of TTD in view of the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.

The Additional EO said the motto of TTD is to provide tasty and healthy food in a hygienic way to the scores of devotees visiting Tirumala. 

He said TTD ensures that the kind donations in the form of vegetables will reach even the last devotee who consumes Annaprasadam with utmost devotion.

The Additional EO also sought the 24 vegetable donors who attended the meeting to come with more variety of vegetables, as there is always scope of enhancing the services to pilgrims.

Earlier, the Special Catering Officer Sri GLN Shastry briefed about the vegetable donation which commenced in 2004. 

Later the Additional EO felicitated the vegetable donors who hailed from Koimbedu, Tiruppur, Namakkal, Chikballapur, Vijayawada, Palamaneru, Hyderabad, Tirupati on the occasion.

DyEO Annaprasadam Sri Rajendra and other Annaprasadam staff were also present.
