TTD Eo Inspects CRO, NG Sheds, Outside Queue Lines

TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary on Tuesday inspected CRO General and Narayanagiri Sheds, outside lines in Tirumala.

Later speaking to media persons, he said as the devotee rush to Tirumala has increased due to consecutive holidays for the last three days and with the advent of Puratasi month, it is taking nearly 20-24 hours for the SSD tokenless or ticketless pilgrims to have the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. 

The devotees have to wait with patience till their turn for darshan.

The TTD management has made elaborate arrangements and is continuously providing Annaprasadam, drinking water, milk, tea, coffee to the devotees in Vaikuntam compartments, Narayangiri sheds and those waiting in outside queues also.

TTD has also appointed senior officials for continuous monitoring of these arrangements in the larger interests of the devotees.

The devotees are therefore requested to observe these facilities and cooperate with TTD Management.

Earlier, the EO also inspected the distribution of Annaprasadam and water at NG Sheds, outside lines and in CRO he instructed the officials concerned to come out with an action plan to set up a waiting hall behind CRO for the pilgrims. Thereafter, he also visited the Pilgrim Information Counter located at CRO and made some suggestions to the counter staff on how to inform the pilgrims in a better way on the accommodation and other amenities. 

CE Sri Satyanarayana, DyEOs Sri Bhaskar, Sri Harindranath, CPRO Dr T Ravi, VSO Sri Surendranath, Special Catering Officer Sri Shastry and other officials were also present.
