The Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary conducted a review with the officials at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday evening on the arrangements for Chakra Snanam which is on October 12, the last day of Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam.
Speaking on this occasion, the Additional EO said that on that day the rituals lasts from 6 am to 9am at Swamy which includes Snapana Tirumanjanam to Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, Bhudevi along with
Sri Sudarshana Chakratathalwar followed by Chakra Snanam.
For this, the galleries and bath rooms be arranged in Pushkarini so that the devotees would not face any difficulties, he directed the officials concerned.
The officers were directed to make available the TTD security personnel as well as the SDRF, NDRF, SPF and swimmers to ensure safety of pilgrims.
Appeal to devotees
Devotees are appealed to exercise restraint and bathe in Pushkarini, as the sacredness of Chakra Snanam will remain throughout the day.
Necessary arrangements have been made for the devotees to change their clothes.
JEOs Smt Gautami, Sri Veerabraham, CVSO Sri Sridhar, Sri. Satyanarayana and senior officials participated in this meeting.
