As part of National Ayurveda Week celebrations TTD organised a free Ayurveda camp at K. Kottapet village of Chandragiri Mandal on Wednesday.
Upon the directions of TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao in the supervision of JEO(H&E) Smt Gautami, in the auspices of the Sri Venkateswara Ayurveda College, TTD is conducting the 9th National Ayurveda Day programs concluding on 29th October.
Ayurvedic doctors and para-medical staff conducted an awareness program on Ayurveda in the village along with free distribution of medicines and medical experts explained health principles, awareness and benefits of following them in daily life, prevention of diseases etc.
On this occasion, Superintendent of College and Hospital Dr. Renu Dixit said that the Union Government has declared the 9th Ayurveda Day as "Ayurvedic Innovation for Global Health".
Health welfare, lifestyle, Panchakarma treatments, nutrition for women according to different age groups and other aspects were imparted to women through Ayurveda.
Panchakarma Department Head Dr. Harshavardhan, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Subbareddy, village leaders Sri Ramanatham Naidu, Sri Krishnama Naidu, Sri Bhaskar Naidu, other doctors, para medical staff and a large number of villagers were present.
