On the occasion of annual Brahmotsavam in Tirumala, on the first day of the ceremonial Garuda flag hoisting, there are widespread rumors by a section of media and on social media platforms that the Hook used to hoist the Garuda flag on the flag pole broke which is a sign of misdemeanour.
TTD appealed to devotees not to believe such baseless rumours.
It is customary to check every single carrier before Brahmotsavam. And if any object is found unfit, it is immediately removed and replaced them with new ones.
As part of that, the priests have removed the old Kokki and replaced it with a new one.
But it is unfortunate that some media have propagated that as a bad sign even before the commencement of annual festival.
TTD once again appeals to its devotees not to believe such rumours.
