The Srivari Seva volunteers who hailed from different states for offering services to pilgrims during annual brahmotsavams, rendered impeccable services from 5am till completion of Garuda Vahana Seva on Tuesday at Tirumala.
A total of around 1500 Srivari Sevaks have been drafted exclusively for serving Annaprasadam and milk, distributing water to the devotees waiting in all the 183 galleries of the four mada streets encircling the Tirumala temple.
Among the sevaks, around 650 for Annaprasadam, 550 for Health and 300 for Security were allotted. The Sevaks served milk, upma, pongal, sambar rice and many other delicacies at regular intervals to the devotees in each gallery. While the sevaks distributed water to the devotees upon the instructions of the health department. Over 300 odd sevaks have been deployed to TTD Vigilance and Security wing to guard the procession of Vahana Seva.
Besides drafting two TTD employees to supervise each mada street, around 50 senior sevaks have also been deployed to monitor the issues being faced by the pilgrims in each gallery.
The devotees also expressed immense pleasure with the services of Srivari Sevaks who offered continuous services to the pilgrims in the galleries of the four mada streets for nearly 20hours with dedication, devotion and discipline.
