In view of the health safety and security of pilgrim devotees, TTD has appealed the pilgrims trekking the footpath routes to follow the following precautions...
1. Avoid climbing hills after age of 60 and especially ailing with diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Epilepsy(fits) and arthritis.
2. Obese people and people undergone cardiac stent procedure should avoid climbing up the hills.
3. Stress due to climbing the hills and low oxygen concentration at high altitude may aggravate cardiac disturbances and Asthma.
4. Pilgrims with chronic ailments should bring their regular medicines to avoid missing of the dose which leads to further complications.
5. In case of any difficulty please avail medical facilities at all the TTD medical centres located at 1500 step, Galigopuram and Bashakarla Sannidhi of Alipri footpath.
6. Avail 24 X 7 Medical facility in Aswini Hospital and other dispensaries in Tirumala for any medical aid.
7. In case of any emergency for Chronic Kidney disease patients, dialysis facility is available at SVIMS, Tirupati.
The devotees are therefore requested to follow these precautions and have a memorable pilgrimage experience.
