TTD EO Sri J. Shyamala Rao has ordered the engineering officers to complete the Sri Balaji Institute of Oncology, Central Drug Store and other buildings under construction in the hospital quickly and make them accessible to patients. The EO, along with SWIMS Director Dr. R. V. Kumar, reviewed the medical facilities being provided to patients in various departments of SWIMS on Saturday evening.
In this, along with the main departments, the heads of departments like General Surgery, General Medicine, Neurology and others reviewed the treatments being done in their departments, the steps to be taken to provide better facilities and increase the number of patients. Later, they inspected the operation theaters on the third floor of the General Ward and Padmavati Hospital and made several suggestions.
Later, the doctors in the emergency department inquired about the medical services being provided to patients, other facilities, NTR Aarogyasri medical services, OP registration and other issues. The EO inspected the patient assistants' room and spoke to the people waiting there about the food and medical facilities provided by TTD.
As part of this, the EO spoke to patients like Sri Doraswamy (heart operation) from V. Kota in Chittoor district, Sri Subbarao (hernia operation) from Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, Sri Chakravarthy (hot operation) from Chittoor, Sri Sainath who underwent general surgery and inquired about the medical assistance being provided to them.
On this occasion, the patients and their assistants expressed their satisfaction with the quality of medical care and other facilities provided by TTD.
