TTD Addl Eo Conducts Surprise Inspection in Tirumala

TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary conducted surprise inspections in Tirumala on Wednesday evening. 

On this occasion, he inspected the Annapurna Hotel building on DMB Road. Later, he personally inspected the licenses of the shops. He had tea at a tea shop and inquired about the prices. 

Speaking to the media on this occasion, the Additional EO said that the inspection was carried out as the Annapurna Hotel building had reached a dilapidated state. He said that a decision will be taken on the building soon based on the report of the engineering officials. 

He also said that it has come to his notice that businesses are being run in two or three areas with a single license and action will be taken to prevent misuse by digitizing the licenses. 

He informed that strict action will be taken against those who are doing business illegally in Tirumala.

Deputy EO Health Smt Asha Jyothi, Electrical DE Sri Chandra Shekhar, VGO Sri Surendra, Revenue AEO Sri Narayana Chowdhary and other officials participated in the inspection.
