Elaborate Arrangements for Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam - TTD Eo





TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Saturday said elaborate arrangements are underway for the ensuing ten-day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam scheduled from January 10-19.


Before taking the calls from pilgrim devotees,  during the monthly Dial your EO at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala the EO briefed on the highlights of the preparations for the big fete as well some other festivals lined up in future. Highlights:

  • TTD  rolled out extensive arrangements keeping in mind the convenience of common devotees during these ten days
  • To avoid devotees waiting for long  queues, TTD will issue time slot tokens to devotees.
  • 1.40 lakh Rs.300/- special entry darshan  (Special Entry Darshan) tickets were released online on December 24.
  • Srivani Darshan tickets and rooms at an average of 2,000 tickets per day online on December 23.
  • Devotees who get these tickets will have Maha Laghu Darshan.
  • Donors who have booked Darshan online will be allowed to have Darshan through a special entry Darshan queue of Rs. 300/-
  • For the convenience of general devotees, there will be no room allotment to donors and those who come with their recommendation letters from January 8 to 11. Donors can book rooms as usual on other days.
  • Tokens will be issued through a total of 91 counters, including 87 counters in 8 centers in Tirupati and 4 counters in Tirumala.
  • For the first three days, January 10, 11 and 12, 1.20 lakh tokens will be issued from 5 am on January 9, and thereafter tokens will be issued on the day before for the remaining days.

  • Token counters will be set up at Indira Maidan, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Srinivasam Complex, Vishnunivasam Complex, Bhudevi Complex, Ramanaidu High School in Bhairagipatteda, Zilla Parishad High School in MR Palle, Zilla Parishad High School in Jeevakona, and Community Hall in Balaji Nagar in Tirumala.
  • It was explained that queue lines and barricades are being set up in the areas where the counters are being set up, and drinking water, toilets and other facilities are being provided to the waiting devotees. - Devotees with Sarva Darshan tokens are requested to come to Tirumala at the allotted time only and have darshan of the Lord.
  • Devotees of Govindamala will also have to obtain darshan tokens and come for darshan.
  • Only devotees with darshan tokens will be allowed to have darshan at Tirumala.- Special darshans viz. parents with infants, elderly, disabled, NRIs, Defence personnel have been cancelled during these ten days.
  • VIP break darshan letters will not be accepted from others except those holding constitutional posts for these ten days.
  • Rooms are limited in Tirumala. Devotees can register with the CRO and get the available rooms. Devotees who are not able to get accommodation in Tirumala are requested to get accommodation in Tirupati.
  • Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be held at Srivari temple on January 7.
  • On January 10, on the day of Vaikuntha Ekadasi, Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi will bless devotees along the four mada streets of the temple on a golden chariot from 9 to 11 am.
• On January 11, on the occasion of Vaikuntha Dwadasi, Chakrasnanam will be performed at Swami Pushkarani from 4.30 to 5.30 am.
  • Adhyayanotsavam will begin on December 30 at the Tirumala Srivari Temple. It is customary to conduct Adhyayanotsavams 11 days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi during Dhanurmasa.
  • TTD Diaries and calendars for the year 2025 are available at the Srivari temples in Tirumala, Tirupati, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vijayawada, Vizag, Mumbai, New Delhi, Vellore, and Kanchipuram. -TTD has also provided the facility to book calendars and diaries online. 
  • As part of the Sanatana Hindu Dharma campaign, a model Srivari temple of Tirumala will be set up at the prestigious Maha Kumbh Mela to be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025 at Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh in Sector 6, adjacent to the Vasuki temple here.
  • TTD will also organise the Kainkaryam and festivals here on the lines of Tirumala temple so that devotees from all over India can witness the glory and beget the blessings of Swami Varu.
  • TTD is providing the opportunity to millions of devotees who come to Prayagraj to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy by setting up the replica Tirumala temple
  • Every day, all Sevas will be conducted in this temple from Suprabhatam to Ekanta Seva, just like in Tirumala.
•  Similarly, TTD is making arrangements to  conduct the Srinivasa Kalyanams at several locations -Devotees shall make use of this divine opportunity to witness the Celestial Kalyanams on January 18 and 26, February 3 and 12.
