Tokens Issued for Locals Darshan

















TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu along with the EO Sri J Syamala Rao commenced issuance of tokens to locals at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Monday.


Speaking to the media on the occasion the TTD Board Chief thanked the Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu and the Honourable Deputy CM Sri Pawan Kalyan for resuming darshan for locals for the last a few years.

He said as per their instructions, the TTD board during its first board meeting on November 18 has taken a decision to provide Srivari Darshan to locals on first Tuesday of every month. 

Later, TTD EO said 7 counters have been set up in the Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati and 3 counters in the Community hall at Balaji Nagar in Tirumala for the locals. 

As of now 2,500 tokens will be issued in Tirupati and 500 in Tirumala. Tokens shall be redeemed to the residents of Tirupati Urban, Tirupati Rural, Chandragiri, Renigunta, Tirumala with original Aadhaar card. 

Henceforth every month on first Sunday Darshan tokens will be issued at both the centres in Tirupati and Tirumala.

He also lauded the officials concerned of TTD for having  made the elaborate arrangements within the stipulated time.

Meanwhile, the local devotees shall be eligible for next darshan only after 90 days after having darshan of Srivaru once.

TTD has made arrangements for queuing lines and basic facilities for issuing tokens so that devotees can get tokens easily. 

In this programme Tirupati MLA Sri A. Srinivasulu, Chandragiri MLA Sri Pulivarthi Nani were also present.

Among others, TTD Board Member Dr.M.Santharam, TTD Additional EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary, CVSO Sri Sridhar, Deputy EO Sri. Lokanadham, TTD officials participated.
