TTD Addl Eo ReviewsTraffic Arrangements for V-Day







TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary on Monday evening held a joint meeting with TTD officials and police to review on the arrangements of Traffic Management during the ensuing ten day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam in Tirumala from January 10-19.


Along with the TTD CVSO Sri Sridhar and District SP Sri Subbarayudu, at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the Additional EO asked them to work in coordination with their respective cops and ensure the smooth management of vehicular traffic and sufficient parking facilities 
in Tirumala especially on the days of Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Vaikuntha Dwadasi.

The Additional EO said, wide publicity should be given to the public via continuous announcements through Radio and Broadcasting, Social Media, press conferences, SVBC promos, signages to bring awareness among the pilgrims that only those with either Darshan Tokens or Darshan Tickets as per their specified date and time are alone will be allowed for the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan in Tirumala during those ten days.

The devotees shall enter the Darshan lines only on the specified days and time slots as mentioned on their tokens or tickets which is mandatory to avoid long waiting hours, asserted the Additional EO. 

Speaking further, he said the Parking Slots shall be decentralized to avoid vehicular congestion and an action plan shall be prepared for around 13,000 vehicles. He later directed the officials concerned to provide more number of buggies at Rambhageecha Rest House and vehicles parking shall be allotted outside RBRH as in the case of Garuda Seva.

He also asked the TTD sleuths to ensure proper security arrangements for the big day and the services of Octopus team shall also be utilized on necessity along with the local police force, he maintained.
