Compensation to Victims of Kerala Family

TTD board members on Saturday handed over Rs 27 lakh compensation to the family of V. Nirmala from Palakkad, Kerala state, who died in the stampede that took place on January 8 during the issue of Sarvadarshanam tokens in Tirupati on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. 

The compensation amount includes Rs.25 lakhs, while board member Smt. Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy gave her own funds of Rs.2 lakhs and paid a total of Rs.27 lakhs. 

TTD board members Sri.  Naresh Kumar, Sri. Ramamurthy, Sri.  Santaram personally visited the victim's house and handed over the compensation.

 As per the decision of TTD board to give one contract job to one person of the family, the team of board members collected the details of one Kaushiga for the job.
