Model SV Temple at Mahakumbha Mela - TTD Board Chief


TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu has said that all arrang

ements are being made for setting up of a model temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy next to the Vasuki Temple in Sector 6 during the upcoming mega religious event of Maha Kumbhmela at Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh from January 13 to February 26. 


Speaking to media persons at Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati on Saturday after inspecting the SSD token issuing counters the Chairman said that a model temple of Srivaru is being built in Prayagraj so that devotees especially from North India can have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. 

The Chairman said that Srivari Kalyanotsavam, Chakrasnanam and other auspicious events will also be held on the lines of Tirumala. 

He said that all electrical and flower decorations would be taken up to impress the devotees. An action plan has also been prepared in advance as there is a possibility of a large congregation of pilgrim crowd on the main days of the Mahakumbha Mela. 

He further said that TTD officials are collectively making arrangements for the event and the officials are taking steps to provide live broadcasts of the event from time to time through SVBC.

Tirupati JEO (H&E) Smt Gautami, CVSO Sri Sridhar, Municipal Commissioner Smt Maurya, CE Sri. Satyanarayana and other officials were also present.
