Chakradhariki....Chakrasnanam

The annual brahmotsavams at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram reached the last day with the Chakra Snanam observed to the Sudarshana Chakrattalwar on Wednesday.

Earlier, rituals like Pallaki Utsavam to the utsava deities, Snapana Tirumanjanam were held to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara, Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar. 

After the series of Agamic rituals under the supervision of Kankanabhattar Sri Narayanacharyulu, the sacred dip was performed to the Anthropomorphic form of the deity in the holy waters of the temple tank amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.

Devotees also took the holy dip chanting Govinda...Govinda. Temple officials were also present.

Over 12 tonnes of flowers were utilised
