TTD is organising the annual Ekadashi Kalyanotsavam grandly from March 9 to 17 at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Upamaka, Visakhapatnam district.
As part of the celebrations on March 9, the Pellikavadi Utsavam will be held at 9.45 am, and Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyaha Vachanam, Rutwik Varunam, Rakshabandhanam, and Ankurarpana will be held from 5.45 pm to 7 pm. The Lord will give darshan to the devotees on a horse-drawn carriage from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
On March 10th, from 8 am to 10 am, a grand palanquin ceremony will be held for Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhudevi,
Sri Sudarshana Perumal. The wedding festivities will begin with a Dvajarohana from 10 am to 12 noon. A preparatory festival (Kanyavaruna Samvadam) will be held from 7.40 pm to 11.30 pm. In this, Srivaru will be seen riding on the Garuda Vahana, while Bhudevi Ammavaru will be seen riding on the Shesha Talpa Vahana.
On March 11th, in the early morning (midnight of the 10th), from 12.30 am to 3.30 am, the wedding ceremony of Swami and Ammavar will be held in a grand manner. From 7.40 pm to 9.30 pm, the Swami will take a walk through the four streets of the temple on the swan chariot and give darshan to the devotees.
On March 12th, from 9 pm to 10 pm, Sri Bhu Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy will entertain the devotees on the Punyakoti Vahanam.
On March 13th, from 2.30 pm to 6 pm, the garden festival will be held, and Sri Bhu Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy will have darshan on the Rajadhiraja Vahanam. Later, from 7.30 pm to 10 pm, Lord Shiva will welcome the devotees on the Gajavahanam.
Chakrasnanam will be held on March 14 from 2.30 pm to 9.30 pm. The chariot festival will be held grandly from 10.30 pm to 12 midnight.
Dhwajavarohanam will be held on March 15 from 5.45 pm to 6.30 pm, and Pavalimpu Seva will be held on March 16 and 17 from 8 pm to 9 pm.
