The Kalyana Vedika hosting the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam is designed to accommodate 27000 devotees at Venkatapalem, said TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.
He conducted a review meeting with TTD and district officials at the camp office in front of the SV temple on Friday.
The arrangements made by TTD for Srinivasa Kalyanam to be held on the evening of March 15 at Venkata Palem under CRDA which were completed.
TTD has arranged around 300 buses to enable the people of 24 villages under CRDA to reach Venkatapalem. Buses have been arranged so that the people of Tullur, Tadepalli, Tadikonda and Mangalagiri mandals can easily reach the premises of Kalyana Vedika.
Similarly, in view of the extensive bus facility from Vijayawada to Amaravathi, a bus has been arranged for every 5 minutes from Mandadam.
Similarly, work is being done rapidly to decorate the Sri Venkateswara temple and surrounding areas with a variety of exotic and ornamental flowers.
Around 4 tonnes of flowers, 30,000 bunches of flowers, mango, banana and coconut leaf arches are being decorated in the temple. While under the auspices of the TTD Garden Department flower garlands for Srivari Kalyanam are being prepared.
The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad of TTD is arranging devotional music programs on Saturday evening which includes vocal rendition by versatile carnatic musician Smt Nityashree Mahadevan team of Chennai. From 5 pm to 6.15 pm Priya Sisters from Chennai will provide Annamacharya Sankirtans.
Later during Kalyanam, artistes from TTD Annamacharya Project will present the Sankeertans.
Srivari laddu, turmeric, vermilion packets, sacred turmeric threads, bangles, Srivari Pustaka prasadam, Kalyanam Akshatas will be distributed in a bag to the devotees coming to Srinivasa Kalyanam.
The entire premises is decked with 5000 flood lights, 25 generators, 18 LED screens, electric illumination carrying images of Dasavatarams, Sri Venkateswara, Sri Padmavati Ammavaru, 60 arches in the surroundings of the Srinivasa Kalyanam venue and also the temple which is standing as a special attraction.
TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, District Collector Smt Nagalakshmi, JEO Sri Veerabrahamam, TTD CVSO Sri. Harshavardhan Raju, SP Sri. Satish Kumar, CE Sri. Satyanarayana, many district officials and TTD officials were present.
