Dhwajarohanam Marks Grand Opening of the Nine Day Festivities in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple

The annual brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Rama temple in Tirupati flagged off with the ceremonious Dhwajarohanam on Thursday in the auspicious Mesha Lagnam between 9.15am and 9.30am.

Under the supervision of Kankanabhattar Sri Bharat Kumar Deekshitulu, the flag hoisting ceremony held amidst chanting of vedic mantras and Rama Nama Smarana of devotees.

Later between 11am and 12noon, Snapana Tirumanjanam was held to the utsava deities of Sri Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy.

Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, one of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Agama advisor Sri Seetaramacharyulu, DyEOs Sri Govindarajan, Smt Nagaratna, AEO Sri Ravi and others were also present.
