District Forest Officer Clarification on Boating in Papavinasanam Dam

The District Forest Officer Sri P. Vivek clarified about the boating incident in Papavanasanam Dam in Tirumala.

In a statement released on Tuesday night, he said that these boats were used to inspect the Papavinasanam Dam in Sri Venkateswara National Park and Seshachalam Biosphere Reserve after receiving information about certain illegal activities in that area.

In this regard, inspections were carried out with boats around Papavinasanam Dam.

He also stated that the concerned boats used for inspections have already been brought back.
