Koil Alwar in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

The temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, was observed in the ancient shrine of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Thursday in connection with Telugu Ugadi Asthanam on March 30.

As a part of this, the entire temple and sub shrines cleansed with Parimalam besides Puja utensils from 7am to 9am and later special pujas were performed to the deities. Afterwards, devotees are allowed for darshan.
