Srinivasa Kalyanam will Be Celebrated with Grandeur

The TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu said that all the arrangements have been completed to organize the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam which is set to take place on March 15 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the premises of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkatapalem village, at Amaravathi in a big way. 

A media conference was held on Thursday in the temple premises by the TTD Chairman along with TTD EO Sri J.Syamala Rao.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, the Chairman said that as per the wish of the Honourable Chief Minister of AP Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the reconstruction of Amaravati should commence with the divine blessings of Swami varu after this celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam.  

As a First installment the tender process is completed to start the works of Amaravathi with Rs.30 thousand crore. And the CM  wants every citizen to beget the divine blessings and hence Srinivasa Kalyanam is planned in a big way, he maintained.

As part of this, a meeting was held with Amaravati farmers and farmers association leaders and everyone wants to be a participant in the reconstruction of Amaravati. Devotees are requested to participate in large numbers in Srivari Kalyanam and seek the blessings of Swami varu, he said. 

Besides the Chief Minister, State Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, other public representatives, farmers of the capital, people from different villages and regions will participate in this program, he added.

Later, TTD EO said that extensive arrangements have been made in coordination with the district administration so that the devotees coming for Srinivasa Kalyanam do not face any inconvenience. 

 

The EO highlighted the arrangements made by TTD

  Srivari Temple: 

  - Priests, Vedic scholars are coming from Tirumala to organize Srinivasa Kalyan in the most grand manner. While the program commences with Mangala Dhwani.

  Engineering:

 - Along with the construction of the Kalyanam venue, we are providing facilities for 27 thousand devotees to watch the spiritual event.

 - We have set up flex boards and hoardings in Guntur, Vijayawada and other important areas. 

  Electrical: 

 - In addition to Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, we have installed electric lights in the surrounding areas of the wedding venue.  LED TVs have been installed around the stage for the devotees to watch the Kalyanam.

 - We have taken steps to supply electricity continuously through generators.

  Security: 

 - We are making tight security arrangements with 160 personnel from TTD Vigilance and Security Department and 600 personnel from Guntur District Police. 

 - Five drones and 70 cc cameras have been arranged for security and monitoring with the cooperation of the local police.

 - Setting up an integrated command control centre. 

  Parking: 

 - We have provided parking facility for 400 vehicles for VVIPs behind the temple and 1000 vehicles behind the temple compound wall.  Similarly, we have allocated parking space for 1500 vehicles on the south side of Seed Axis Road. 

  Rice offerings: 

 - Arrangements have been made to provide fresh water, buttermilk,  Annaprasadam and laddu prasadam to all the devotees participating in the Srinivasa Kalyanam with the help of the Srivari Seva volunteers. 

  Public Relations/SVBC: 

 - Leaflets and wall posters were sent door to door in 27 villages near Srivari Temple by HDPP Prachara Radhams. 

 - Srinivasa Kalyan will be telecast live by SVBC for the sake of global devotees.  Media will be given live frequency without logo.  TTD PR Department and District I&PR Department will send press releases and photos to the media. 

  * Sanitation :* 

 - We have arranged 100 sanitation workers to keep Srivari temple as well as Kalyanam venue, surroundings and parking lot clean and tidy.  Similarly, for the convenience of the devotees, we are setting up around 100 mobile toilets in the surroundings of the Kalyanam venue 

  Medical Department:

 - We are setting up two special medical camps in the vicinity of the temple.  We are keeping enough doctors, para medical staff and two ambulances available in these medical camps. 

  Transportation: 

 - We are providing transport facility with 310 buses in collaboration with APSRTC for devotees coming from different places. 

  Garden Section: 

 - We will beautify the wedding venue along with the temple of Srivaru with different types of traditional flowers and cut flowers. 

  Cultural programs under the auspices of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad : 

 - Srinivasa Sankeertana by renowned artiste Smt. Nithyasree Mahadevan from Chennai from 4 to 5 pm under the auspices of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.

 - Annamacharya Sankeertans by Priya Sisters from Chennai from 5 pm to 6:15 pm, 

TTD Dharmika and Spiritual lecture by renowned Bhagavad Gita Lecturer Sri Gangadhara Shastri at 6.20 pm, 

Srinivasa Kalyanam Narrated by Saraswati Putra, Sahasra Avadhani Dr. Medasani Mohan from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
