Chakrasnanam Held with Splendor at Vontimitta















On the last day of the annual Brahmotsavams at Vontimitta Sri Kodandarama Swamy, temple in Kadapa district, the Chakrasnanam was held in the Pushkarini near the temple on Monday. 

A large number of devotees participated and took holy baths.
At 4 am, the Swami was awakened with Suprabhatam. 
At 9 am, Sri Sita Lakshmana Sametha Sri Rama were taken to the Pushkarini in a procession while in Sri Sudarshana Chakrathalwar on a Tiruchi.
From 9.30 am to 10.30 am,  Snapana Tirumanjanam was held for the ceremonial idols.
After that the Chakrasnanam was performed in accordance with the scriptures amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras.
The Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy will end with the lowering of the flag on Monday at 7 pm.
Deputy EO Sri Natesh Babu, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthayya, Temple Inspector Sri Naveen and temple priests participated in this program.
