Extensive Arrangements for Sri Kodandarama Swamy Vari Brahmotsavams in Coordilnation with District Offcials - TTD Eo

TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao and District Collector Sri C Sridhar along with the SP Sri Ashok Kumar, said that extensive coordinated arrangements are being made for the Vontimitta Sri Kodandaramaswamy Brahmotsavam, especially on the state festival of Sri Sitarama Kalyanam  the TTD officials and Kadapa district administration

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday at the conference hall of the Administrative Building in the Vontimitta temple premises, the EO explained the arrangements made by TTD for the celestial wedding ceremony on April 11. 

The details are as follows.

•  On the occasion of Sri Sitaram Kalyanam, the Honourable Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu will present the Sare(Vastrams) on behalf of the state government on April 11 at 6 pm.

-Arrangements made for the devotees to sit and watch comfortably in the galleries at the Kalyana Vedika premises.

Taken steps to ensure that paramedics, TTD employees, police and Srivari Sevakus are present in each gallery so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.

• For the first time, 28 kiosks (counters) have been specially set up at the entrance of the Kalyana Vedika for the distribution of Talambralu.

 • Elaborate arrangements made to provide Talambralu, Srivari laddu prasadam, bangles and food prasadam to every devotee who comes to the wedding ceremony

•  painted the four streets of the temple with white coolant to provide relief from the hot sun for the devotees walking in the temple premises.

•  set up a German shed near the temple to accommodate 3,000 devotees waiting and avoiding queues.

•  21 LED screens have been set up with state-of-the-art technology so that all the devotees who come to watch the wedding of Sri Sitarama

.Installed 38 images of various deities with electric lights in the temple, the wedding venue, and surrounding areas, along with signboards so that devotees can easily identify them.

•  Tight security with 350 personnel from TTD Vigilance Department and 2500 security personnel from the district police.

• Similarly, 130 CC cameras and 20 drones have been installed.

 - 4 fire engines, one emergency vehicle and fire and disaster management teams have been set up to provide emergency services

•  illumination, signboards, mobile patrolling and surveillance teams have been set up for about 21 km from Salabad Junction to Sainagar

•  Annaprasadam is being distributed to the devotees attending the Brahmotsavam of Sri Kodandarama Swamy from morning till night in the temple premises and at the Kalyana Vedika.

 - Devotees waiting in the galleries to watch the Kalyanam will be provided with lemon rice, Chakkera pongali, biscuit packets from evening onwars.

•  Around 3 lakh drinking water bottles will be provided besides water supply through drums and buttermilk packets for the Brahmotsavams.

• We are providing transport facilities to the devotees through 425 trips with 85 RTC buses from Kadapa to Vontimitta and 40 buses from Rajampet to Vontimitta, totaling 625 trips.

 •  arranged 20 buses from the traffic diversion areas to the Kalyana Vedika.

Flower Decorations:

• Steps taken to decorate the Kalyana Vedika, the temple and the surrounding areas with 12 tons of traditional flowers and one lakh cut flowers.

• For the first time, a short artistic depiction of Sampoorna Ramayana has been set up in the temple premises.

•  Sri Rama Nama Bhajanamrutham in the Govindanama Sarali during the Kalyanam of Sri Sita Rama.

•  A total of 30 art groups will be performing cultural programs under the auspices of HDPP - (18), Dasa Sahitya Project - (4), and Annamacharya Project (8).

•  13 medical camps, 250 paramedical staff, 35 medical experts, 8 ambulances, and fire brigade personnel are deployed on duty.

• for Kalyana Vedika and Temple premises, 250 toilets with 3,268 sanitation workers will be on duty in coordination with the TTD and district administration.

• 500 TTD employees on deputation besides 2500 Srivari Sevaks will provide services to the devotees without any inconvenience.

 • Training was also imparted to deputation employres at SVETA building in Tirupati

• SVBC will provide live broadcast of the Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam in HD quality so that devotees from all over the world can watch it.

Kadapa District Collector Sri Cherukuri Sridhar said that the district administration is making extensive arrangements so that the devotees who mainly come to the wedding of Sri Sitarama during the Brahmotsavam do not face any inconvenience. As part of this, they reviewed and made several suggestions on security, parking, distribution of Anna Prasad, temporary toilets, uninterrupted power supply, first aid centers, RTC buses, help desks, signboards, sanitation, public address system and other departments.

District SP Sri Ashok Kumar said that TTD Security and vigilance staff, district police will make tight security arrangements together. He gave instructions to the officials on setting up CCTV cameras and control rooms in all necessary areas.

Earlier, the TTD EO inspected the Kalyana Vedika premises along with district and TTD officials.
