Kavi Sammelanam Held

As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Vontimitta in Kadapa district, Kavi Sammelanam was held on Sunday under the auspices of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad of TTD to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned Telugu Poet Sri Bammera Pothana. 

The program was presided over by Sri Sriram Raghunath, Secretary of HDPP.

Prominent scholars and poets participated in the literature fete.

Scholar Sri Pasupuleti Shankar explained Sri Bhagavata Prashasthyam while Sri Narayana Reddy delivered on "Rukmini Sandesham".

Sri Chandrasekhar spoke on the topic of "Gajendra Moksham" in Bhagavatam while Dr. Gopalakrishna Sastry spoke on "Kuchelopakhyanam", and explained how beautifully Sri Pothana depicted the bond about the friendship between Sri Krishna and Kuchela.

Acharya Parvati spoke on the topic of "Prahlada Charitra" and Dr. Neelaveni  Speaking on “Ranti Deva Charitra”. Similarly, Dr. Shiva Reddy recited poetry on “Vemana Charitra”. 

Devotees enjoyed the expertise of the narration on various topics by the scholars.
