Nearly 70 Thousan Devotees Witness Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam

Around 70 thousand devotees participated and witnessed the Vontimitta Sri Sita Ram Kalyanam held on Friday evening at Vontimitta in Kadapa district.

Extensive arrangements were made in coordination with all departments of TTD and the district administration to ensure that no inconvenience was caused to the devotees.

The devotees thanked the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu,  for the elaborate arrangements made to witness the celestial wedding ceremony.

Some highlights:

•  147 spacious galleries were set up at the wedding venue premises, where devotees could sit and watch comfortably.

•  TTD provided pearl Talambralu, Srivari laddu prasadam to every devotee who attended the wedding ceremony.

•  Similarly, lemon rice, Chakkara pongali, biscuit packet, mango juice, water bottle, and Karasev in a kit were provided to each devotee.

•  Buttermilk packets and drinking water were continuously distributed to the devotees in the galleries along with the assistance of Srivari Sevaks. 

 - For the convenience of the pedestrian devotees, special sheds, drinking water, buttermilk, water coolers were set up at 11 areas near the temple for around 3,000 devotees.

•  23 LED screens have been set up to watch the wedding ceremony 

•  For the convenience of the devotees, 20 free buses have been set up by TTD from traffic diversion areas to the wedding venue

•  13 medical camps, 250 paramedical staff, 35 medical experts and 8 ambulances have been set up to test thousands of people and distribute necessary medicines.

•  250 toilets and 3,268 sanitation workers have been pressed on duty.

 - 2500 Srivari Sevaks, Government, Police and TTD staff provided services to the devotees without any inconvenience.

•  The live broadcast of Sri Sita Ram Kalyanotsavam provided by SVBC in HD quality was watched by lakhs of devotees across the world.
