Preparation of Talambralu for Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam at Vontimitta

The preparation of holy Talambralu for Sri Sitarama Kalyanam began in the PAC building at Vontimitta on Sunday in a spiritual manner.

TTD started the packing program of Pearl Talambralu, which are very important for the Sri Sita Ramu Kalyanam to be held on April 11 as part of Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy Brahmotsavams. 

Initially, special pujas were performed in the temple and they were brought to the PAC adjacent to the Kalyanavedika in a procession. 

The Turmeric powder pounded during the Haridhra Ghatanam ceremony on April 3,  was mixed with rice to prepare Akshitas.

Around 425 Srivari Sevaks from nearby places of Kadapa and Annamaiah districts, participated in the preparation of holy rice and Mutyala Talambralu to the tune of one lakh packets.

Deputy EO Smt. Prashanthi, PRO (FAC) Kumari, Temple Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, temple Archakas and other officials participated in this program.
