Procession of Pearls Held

A grand procession of pearls was held at Tirupati to commemorate the celestial marriage of Sri Sitarama at Sri Kodandaramalayam on Monday morning.

Initially, the officials performed special pujas to the pearls in the treasury section of the TTD administration building.

Later, the pearls were brought in a procession to Sri Kodandaramalayam and handed over to the Chief Priest of the Temple, Sri Anandakumar Deekshitulu. 

The procession reached the temple through Tirtha Katta Street, Gandhi Road, Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple in South Mada Street, and Bazaar Street of Tirupati.

These pearls will be used in the marriage of Sri Sitarama on Monday evening.

Temple Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, AEO Sri Ravi, Temple Inspector Sri Suresh, and others participated in this program.
