Special Festilvals in May at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

Several special festivals will be observed during the month of May at Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple in Tirupati. 

The details are as follows:

May 1 to 10: Madhurakavi and Sri Ananta Alwar Utsavam.

May 2: Bhashyakarla Sattumora.

May 3: Bhashyakarla Gandhapodi Utsavam.

May 8: On the occasion of Uttara Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi will bless the devotees on a special procession at 6 PM.

May 9 to 11: Bugga Utsavam.

May 12: Ponnakalva Utsavam 

May 16, 23, and 30 (Fridays): Sri Andal Ammavari Procession 

May 19: On the occasion of Sravana Nakshatram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with Sri Bhu Devis will be taken on a procession along the Mada streets at 6 PM.

May 27: On the occasion of Rohini Nakshatram, Sri Parthasarathi Swamy along with Rukmini and Satyabhama will bless devotees on a procession at 6 PM.

May 31 to June 9: Nammalwar Utsavam.
