Sri Sita Mata Jayanti at Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple on 6h May

Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta in Kadapa district will observe Sri Sita Jayanti on May 6 under the auspices of TTD.

Key Events Scheduled:

In the morning, the deities will be awakened with Suprabhatam, followed by Tirumanjanam.

Subsequently, Vyasa Abhishekam, Aradhana, and Archana will be performed to the main deities.

In the evening, between 5PM and 6PM, the utsava murthis of Sri Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana will be grandly adorned and placed on a special platform in the Ranga Mandapam.

A special "Vasanthika Puja" for Sri Sita Devi will be conducted with jasmine flowers, amidst chanting of Sahasranama Archana.

Other Important Festivals in May

On May 12, the celestial Sri Sitarama Kalyanam will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

On May 22 following Hanuman Jayanti, at 6AM, Abhishekam and Archana will be performed to Sri Sanjeevaraya Swamy.
