Venue Ready to Host Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam in A Big Way - TTD Board Chief

TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu said that all arrangements have been completed to conduct the celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam in a grand manner at Vontimitta on Friday, the April 11 between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.  

A press conference was held at the meeting hall in the Vontimitta temple premises along with the TTD EO Sri J. Syamala Rao, District Collector Sri Sridhar, JEO Sri Veerabraham, JC Adhithi Singh, SP Sri Ashok Kumar, CVSO Sri Harshavardhan Raju. 

Some Excerpts from the press meet:

•  Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam to be held in Ekashilanagaram on April 11 in coordination with TTD and the district administration.

•  On the occasion of the State Festival of Sri Sitaram Kalyanam, the Honourable Chief Minister of AP, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu will present the ''Sare'' on behalf of the state government on April 11 at 6 pm.

•  Arrangements made for 60 thousand devotees to sit comfortably in 147 galleries at the Kalyana Vedika premises.

•  steps to ensure that paramedics, TTD employees, police and Srivari Sevaks are present in each gallery so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.

•  For the first time, 28 counters have been specially set up at the entrance of the Kalyana Vedika for the distribution of Talambralu

•  Arrangements to provide pearl thalambralu, Srivari laddu prasadam, bangles and anna prasadam to every devotee who comes to the wedding ceremony.

•  special sheds in 11 areas for the convenience of the devotees who come on foot.

-  German sheds near the temple so that 3 thousand devotees can wait and avoid queues.

•  23 LED screens set up at the Kalyana Vedika

•  400 security personnel from the TTD Vigilance Department and 2500 from the district police.

•  Similarly, 130 CCTV cameras and 07 drones have been installed.

•  command control room set up to ensure continuous monitoring.

•  fire engines and disaster management teams.

•  set up 2 parking areas at Salabad and 3 at Sai Nagar for the vehicles of devotees coming to Kalyanam.

•  Lighting, signboards, mobile patrolling and surveillance teams have been set up for about 21 km from Salabad Junction to Sainagar

•  Annaprasadam is being distributed to the devotees attending the Brahmotsavam from morning till night in the temple premises and at the Kalyana Vedika.

•  Lemon rice, Chakkera pongal, biscuit packets and Karasev will be provided to the devotees waiting in the galleries to watch the Kalyanam from the evening.

•  About 3 lakh drinking water bottles and buttermilk packets will be provided.

•  transport facilities to the devotees through 425 trips with 85 APSRTC buses from Kadapa to Vontimitta and 220 trips with 40 RTC buses from Rajampet to Vontimitta, making a total of 645 trips.

•  TTD has arranged 20 free buses from traffic diversion areas to the Kalyana Vedika.

•  Special decoration at  the Kalyana Vedika, temple and surrounding areas with 12 tons of traditional flowers and 1 lakh cut flowers.

•  13 medical camps, 250 paramedical staff, 35 medical experts, 8 ambulances, fire brigade personnel are on duty.

•  250 toilets in the vicinity of the Kalyana Vedika and temple, 3,268 sanitation workers are on duty in coordination with the district administration.

•  500 TTD deputation employees, 2500 Srivari Sevaks will provide services without any inconvenience to the devotees.

•  Live broadcast of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam in HD quality so that devotees from all over the world can watch the celestial event.

Earlier, the Chairman reviewed the arrangements with the TTD and district officials. He made several suggestions to the officials on this occasion.
