Lakshmi-Maha Lakshmi-Padmaja-Padmavati Enhance Grandeur of the Procession
















As a part of the ongoing Salakatla Brahmotsavam in Tirumala on the sixth evening Sri Malayappa is taken out for a procession on Elephant (Gaja) carrier amidst the royal paraphernalia.


In Sri Madbhagavatham, the Gajendra Moksham episode is popular as Sri Maha Vishnu instantly coming to the rescue of Gajendra and got him relieved from the clutches of a Crocodile (Makara). 

Elephant (Gaja) also known as Airaavatha (four-tusked white elephant) carrier of Lord Indra that got manifested from ocean during Ksheera-Saagara Mathanam. 

The vahanam and concept behind is a reminder to everyone that Lord always rescues the true devotees from all sorts of risks and troubles like he did for Gajendra.

Tens of thousands of devotees converged to witness the grandeur of Sri Malayappa on the Gaja Vahanam.

The mighty Gaja also happens to be the favourite carrier of Goddess Lakshmi Devi and is a symbol of majesty, royal and riches.

The Richie Rich Lord Malayapoa in all His religious splendour glided on the mighty Gaja Vahana to bless His devotees along the Mada streets. 

TEMPLE ELEPHANTS STANDS AS A CYNOSURE

The procession of Malayappa led by the royal temple elephants Lakshmi, Maha Lakshmi, Padmaja and Padmavathi enhancing the grandeur of the procession

Decked in colourful decorations, the pachyderms moved swiftly in front of Gaja Vahanam with finesse providing a visual treat to the devotees.

TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary, JEOs Smt Goutami, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Sridhar and other officers were present.

Spiritual Music Programs Spread Devotional Spirit inTirumala








Devotional music programs organized by TTD Hindu Dharmic Projects at Tirumala Nada Neerajanam and Asthana Mandapam on Wednesday as part of Srivari Brahmotsavam brought spiritual joy to the devotees. 


A devotional music program by Dr. Pantula Rama group from Vizag from 4 to 5 pm amused the devout.

Vishnu Sahasranama Recitation by Srimati Vani Team from Hyderabad from 7 to 8 am in Asthana Mandapam, Devotional Music by Sri Udayabhaskar Srimati Lavanya Team from Tirupati from 10 am to 11:30 am impressed the devotees.

Later, from 4pm to 5.30 pm, Sri Balaji and Srimati Revathi's team sang Annamayya Sankeertans melodiously.  

Then from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, Srimati Varalakshmi of Tirupati impressed with Harikatha.

Unique Dance Forms













It was a display of unique art forms by 408 artists belonging to 16 teams from AP, Karnataka,Telangana, Gujarat and Manipur states at the Mada street as part of Gaja Vahana Seva on Wednesday evening 


The Bharata Natym l by students of Sri Venkateswara College of music and dance who displayed different forms of the Lord.

Display of the Sri Krishna Leela Ghatam and Dashama Skandam of Bhagavatam stood attractive.

Gajendra Moksha episode, Dasavataram Chinni Krishna along with the Gopikas stood as a cynosure for all.

తిరుపతిలో ఆకట్టుకున్న ధార్మిక కార్యక్రమాలు





తిరుమల శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలలో భాగంగా బుధవారం తిరుపతిలోని పలు వేదికలపై టీటీడీ ధార్మిక ప్రాజెక్టుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించిన ఆధ్యాత్మిక, భక్తి సంగీత కార్యక్రమాలతో పురప్రజలు ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి.


   ఇందులో భాగంగా తిరుపతి మహతి కళాక్షేత్రంలో సాయంత్రం 6:30 నుండి రాత్రి 7:30 గంటల వరకు శ్రీ విజయ కార్తీక్, శ్రీ ఇళయరాజా బృందం వాద్య సంగీతం, రాత్రి 7:30 నుండి 8:30 గంటల వరకు శ్రీ వేణుగోపాల్ బృందం భరతనాట్య ప్రదర్శన  నిర్వహించారు. 

     అన్నమాచార్య కళామందిరంలో కడపకు చెందిన శ్రీ నటరాజ్ బృందం సాయంత్రం 6:30 నుండి రాత్రి 7:30 గంటల వరకు వాద్య సంగీతం, రాత్రి 7:30 నుండి 8:30 గంటల వరకు కడప ఒక చెందిన శ్రీ సూర్యప్రసాద్ నాట్య ప్రదర్శన ఆహుతులను ఆకట్టుకుంది. 

    రామచంద్ర పుష్కరణ వద్ద శ్రీ భార్గవ్ రంగనాథ్ బృందం కర్ణాటక భక్తి సంగీత కార్యక్రమం  పురప్రజలను అలరించింది.

Clothes Gifted to Srivari Temple Staff





As a part of custom during Srivari annual Brahmotsavam the Rajya Sabha member Sri V Prabhakar Reddy along with his spouse and legislator Smt V Prasanthi Reddy distributed clothes to Srivari temple staff who included archakas, melam staff, Vahanam bearers, Potu staff.


The distribution took place at the Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala on Wednesday over tge hands of TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao, Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and CVSO Sri Sridhar.

Speaking on the occasion the EO said the Vemireddy couple are well known for presenting clothes to Srivari temple staff during every Brahmotsavam celebration and wished that Sri Venkateswara showered blessings on them for ever.
