Swarna Ratham Procession Held
The procession of Swarnaratham held with religious ecstasy in Tiruchanoor on Tuesday evening.
Sri Padmavati Devi dazzled on the golden chariot decked in jewels and pattu vastrams to bless Her devotees along mada streets encircling the temple.
JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, SE3 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DyEO Sri Govindarajan and others were present.
Srivari Padalu Procession Held
On the sixth day of the ongoing Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavati Ammavari Kartika Brahmotsavam, in honor of Garudaseva in the evening, the procession of Srivari Swarnapadukalu was held magnificently.
The divine golden feet from the Tirumala Temple were first brought to the Pasupu Mandapam at Tiruchanur. After performing special pujas there, they were taken inside the Ammavari temple in a procession amidst the mangal vaidyams, bhajans and kolatams.
On the day of Ammavari Garudaseva, it is a tradition to decorate Srivari Swarna Padukalu.
JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Temple Deputy EO Sri Govindarajan, other dignitaries, priests and a large number of devotees participated in this program.
TTD Chairman Inspects Darshan Q Lines
TTD Chairman Sri. B.R. Naidu conducted a surprise inspection of Darshan queue lines in Tirumala on Tuesday.
Initially, he checked the Slotted Sarva Darshan queue lines at ATGH and reached Narayangiri sheds.
Later, he inspected the Footpath Hall (Divya Darshan) and got the opinions of the devotees on the services provided by TTD in the Rs.300 special entrance darshan Qline.
On this occasion, some devotees expressed happiness that the Laddus are now tastier and the quality of Annaprasadam has also been increased.
While some other devotees sought the Chairman to make arrangements to have more quick darshan for Rs300 ticket holders.
The Chairman said that a review will be conducted with the officials on issues such as queue lines and darshan time and appropriate arrangements will be made.
TTD board member Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy, VQC AVSO Sri Viswanath and other officials participated in this program.
Artforms Enthralls
The performances of various artists in front of Sarvabhoopala Vahanam on sixth morning enthralled devotees.
The students of SV College of Music and Dance have been presenting a unique display of mythological themes in front of every vahanam attracting the devout attention.
Today the students displayed Asta Dikpalakas which stood as a cynosure.
A total of 254 artistes belonging to a dozen teams hailing from AP, TS and Karnataka presented their skills in the morning vahana seva.
