Tirumala Srivari Salakatla Theppotsavam form 20th to 24th March



Srivari Salakatla Teppotsavams will be held from March 20-24:in Tirumala between 7pm and 8 pm everyday in Swamy Pushkarini.


On the first day of the Raft Festival, on March 20, Sri Ramachandramurthy along with Sri Sita Lakshmana Anjaneya will parade three rounds on the float in Pushkarini and bless the devotees. 


On the second day, on March 21, Sri Krishna Swamy along with Rukmini will take a trip on the rafts three times.


On the third day, March 22, Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi blesses the devotees by wrapping them in Pushkarini three times. 


Similarly, Sri Malayappa Swamy will visit the devotees five times on the fourth day on March 23 and seven times on the last day on March 24.


TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on March 20 and 21, Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara services on March 22, 23 and 24.

Brahmotsavams of Narayanavanam Temple from 13th to 21st May


The annual Brahmotsavams in Narayanavanam are scheduled between May 13 and 21.

 

On May 8, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, May 12 Ankurarpanam will be observed.

 

The important days of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple annual fete include Garuda Seva on May 17, Rathotsavam and Kalyanotsavam on May 20 and Chakra Snanam on May 21.

Purandara Dasa Fete Held









 The Purandhara Dasa Aradhanotsavams was observed with utmost devotion in Tirumala on Tuesday evening in Vaibhavotsava Mandapam with the artists rendered umpteen number of Sankeertans penned by the Kannada Saint Poet.

 

This event was held under the aegis of the Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD in the supervision of its Special Officer Sri PR Anandatheerthacharyulu.

 

When the artists were rendering Sankeertans, another set of artists portraying various mythological characters performed dance ballet in the divine presence of Sri Malayappa with Sridevi and Bhudevi on Unjal.

 

Potu Peishkar Sri Srinivasulu, Parupattedar Sri Uma Mahaeswara Reddy and other temple staff were present.

 

The programme lasted nearly for two hours between 6pm and 8pm which was telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global devotees.

Rathasaptami at Tiruchanoor Temple on 8th Feb in Ekantham


TTD will be organising Ratha Sapthami in Ekantam  at Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor on February 8 and all vahana sevas would be held at Vahana mandapam.

 

Timings:

 

Surya Prabha vahana 7am - 7.30 am

Hamsa vahana 8am and 8.30 am

Ashwa Vahana 9am and 9.30 am

Garuda Vahana 9.30am and 10 am.

Chinna Sesha vahana 10am and10.30 am

Snapana Thirumanjanam 3pm and 4.30  pm 

Chandra Prabha vahana 6pm and 6:30 pm 

Gaja vahana 7.30pm and 8 pm.

 

In view of day long festivities TTD has cancelled all arjita sevas including  Kalyanotsavan, break Darshan, Sahasra Deepalankara  seva etc.

 

Similarly TTD is organising Ashwa vahana and Asthanam at the Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple near Sri Padmavati temple in the early morning hours between 6am and 7am.
