CM Presents Silk Clothes to Srivaru















On the first day of Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam, the Honourable Chief Minister of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy presented silk clothes to Sri Venkateswara Swamy on behalf of the State Government.


First, the Chief Minister reached the temple of Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswamy. He reached the Tirumala temple carrying the silk vastrams on his head in a traditional attire.


TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and Executive Officer Sri. AV Dharma Reddy accompanied the CM. 


Later CM offered prayers in Tirumala temple and later to Vakulamata, Vimana Venkateswara Swamy, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimhaswamy. 


Later, Vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam to the Head of the State.


TTD Chairman presented Theerthaprasadams and a huge Kalamkari Lamination of Srivaru to the dignitary.


Deputy Chief Minister Sri. Narayana Swamy, Ministers Sri. Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Kottu Satyanarayana, Sri. Adimulapu Suresh, Smt. Roja, MLAs Sri Kodali Nani, Sri Madhusudan Reddy, EO Sri. Spread the Glory of Srivaru to the World - TT





TTD Chairman Sri. Bhumana Karunakara Reddy asked the media representatives to spread the glory of Srivaru and His mighty Vahana Sevas to the global devotees during the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams and upcoming Navratri Brahmotsavams. 


On Monday morning, the Chairman along with TTD EO inaugurated the Media Centre established at Rambhagicha-2 Rest House in Tirumala.


Speaking on this occasion, the chairman said that there is a possibility of a large number of devotees coming this year for Adhika Masa Brahmotsavams which is happening first-time post-COVID. He said extensive arrangements are being made under the auspices of all departments. 


He explained that all steps will be taken to provide satisfactory darshan of the presiding deity as well along with vahana sevas during Brahmotsavams. 


The Trust Board Chief said that TTD set an example for other temples in the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma and the role of officials in upholding the reputation of the institution is remarkable from the last five to six decades.


He said that during his childhood, the average pilgrim rush a day used to be 6,000 to 7,000 devotees which rose to a lakh at present.

AP CM INagurates Srinivasa Setu in The Pilgrim City














Terming it as a historical moment the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday inaugurated Srinivasa Setu, the elevated Expressway, which was built in a record time under the Smart City Project.


Speaking on the occasion at the inauguration site near Mango Market Yard, the CM said the 7 km Expressway costing 650.5 crore is a Jewel for the Temple City. He said the Expressway is an engineering marvel which will reduce the traffic woes of denizens as well visiting pilgrims.


HOSTEL BLOCKS INAUGURATED


Later he inaugurated the new twin hostel blocks built by TTD at a cost of 37.80 crore with an aim to provide better facilities to students of Sri Venkateswara Arts College in Tirupati on Monday.The hostel comprises of 181 rooms that accommodates 750 students. 


TTD EMPLOYEES HOUSE SITE PATTAS DISTRIBUTION


Speaking about the house sites the CM said that it is a momentous occasion in the glorious history of TTD where the AP Government has allocated 300 acres land near Padiredu village of Vadamalapeta mandal towards house sites for 3518 TTD employees out of 6700 odd which has been pending since several years.


He also assured the remaining employees will also be allotted house sites in a span of 30-45days amidst huge round of applause from TTD employees. Later he has distributed house site pattas to a few employees.


Earlier Tirupati Legislator and  TTD Board Chief Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said it was during Sri Jaganmohan Reddy's father and former CM of AP, late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's regime the house sites were granted and allocated during his Son's regime. He is fortunate to have worked under the regime of both father and the son as MLA as well TTD Trust Board Chairman. He thanked the CM for making the decades old dream of TTD workforce to become a reality.


At the beginning of the meeting, a short and impressive AV was displayed on all the three events.


Deputy CM Sri Narayana Swamy, Ministers Sri Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Adimulam Suresh, Smt Roja, TUDA Chairman and TTD Ex-officio Sri Mohit Reddy, Mayor Smt Sirisha, Deputy Mayor Sri Abhinay Reddy were present.


Among top brass officials Collector Sri Venkataramana Reddy, SP Sri Parameshwar Reddy, TMC Commissioner Smt Harita, TTD JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CE Sri Nageswara Rao and other officials from district and TTD were also present.

Render Dedication Services to Pilgrims - TTD Chairman to Srivari Sevaks





TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy urged Srivari Sevaks to render selfless service to devotees who come to  Tirumala to witness the Brahmotsavam festivities.


Addressing the Srivari Sevaks at the Asthana Mandapam on Monday morning the TTD Chairman lauded thousands of volunteers who come to serve in Tirumala and Tirupati not only during Brahmotsavam but also throughout the year with dedication and devotion from different parts of the country.


He said the voluntary service which began with just 200 volunteers in 2000, had in last 23 years recorded nearly 13 lakh volunteers and today sevaks are spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to offer selfless services to devotees.


He expressed happiness that around 3500 Sevakulu are serving in the present Brahmotsavam. He said he is confident that the Sevaks would go home with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy after successfully completing their service at Brahmotsavam.


Earlier TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said every tree, stone, particle and item in Tirumala are incarnation of sages and saints as mentioned by Saint poet Sri Annamacharya in his Sankeertan. He asked them to deal with pilgrims smoothly and render services.

Exhibition Steals the Show in Annual Fete

 TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy along with EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy inaugurated TTD exhibition stalls in Kalyana Vedika on Monday.


On this occasion, a photo exhibition was held under the auspices of the Public Relations Department, a display and sale of TTD Panchagavya products, a fruit and flower exhibition under the Garden Department, a herbal expo by SV Ayurveda Hospital,  sculpture exhibition by SVITSA  and a book fair under the auspices of SV Vedic University.


The Gajendra Moksha episode in Sand Art by Ms. Gowri from Karnataka, Bhimasena carrying food on a cart for Bakasura, Dasharatha cradling Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughnu with his wives Kausalya, Sumitra, Kaikeyi, Krishna killing the demon In Putana, Lord Vishnu killing Bhasmasura in the form of Mohini, Lord Krishna testing Ghatotkaju in the form of an old man, Lord Krishna fighting with Jambavantu for Samantakamani, Ananthalvar wounding Lord Venkateswara Swamy with a club, Lord Anantapadmanabha with Nelamaligalu, Ravanasura fighting Jatayu, Hanuman killing demon Mahiravana, Aswametha etc. settings exuding devotion.


Both the Chairman and EO lauded the efforts of all departments in sprucing up the exhibition.















Vaikunthanadha on Peddasesha Vahanam Blesses Devotees










Thousands of devotees witnessed the procession of Sri Vaikunthanadha on Pedda Sesha Vahanam organized on the first day of the on-going nine-day annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on Monday Evening.


Sri Malayappa flanked by His two consorts Sri Devi and Bhu Devi took out a celestial ride on the mighty seven-hooded serpent, Adisesha.


The celestial entourage of Malayappaswami is comprised of decorated bulls, horses and elephants besides band of artists performing kolatas, bhajans and other interesting Bhakti feats to entertain the devotees.

AP CM Releases 2024 TTD Diaries and Calendars





The Honourable CM of AP Sri Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy released the TTD diaries and calendars for the year 2024.


It includes 12 sheet calendars -13.50 lakhs, big diaries - 8.25 lakh, small diaries - 1.50 lakhs, tabletop calendars - 1.25 lakhs, Srivari big calendars 3.50 lakhs, Sri Padmavati Ammavari calendars -10 thousand, Srivaru, Sri Padmavati Ammavari calendars - 4 lakhs, Telugu Panchangam - 2.50 lakh copies.


All these calendars and diaries will be made available in all TTD book stalls in Tirumala and Tirupati from September 22 onwards while in outside places from the Second week of October onwards.
