On the fourth day of the ongoing Srivari annual Brahmotsavam Sri Malayappa Swamy posed majestically as Rajamannar blessed His devotees on Kalpavruksha Vahanam on Thursday morning.

According to the legend Kalpavruksham, the wish-granting divine tree, was brought from heaven by Viswakarama and made Brahmotsavam vahanam for Sri Malayappa Swamy.

The four mada streets reverberated with chants of Govinda Namams as the procession paraded forwarded.

As usual, Lord Brahma in His invisible form led the procession sitting in the wooden chariot. Well-decorated horses and elephants followed the Brahmaratham.

The Tirumala pontiffs, TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and others were present.

On the fourth day of the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam, on Thursday morning, the four mada streets hosted a series of varieties of art forms performed before Kalpavriksha Vahana Seva.

Sri Santosh team from Hyderabad performed Perni dance, Sukanya team from Tirupati portrayed Sri Krishna Tulabharam and CH Prashanth team from Telangana impressed with Oggudolu.

Similarly, Chennai-based Bharata Kala Akademi from Chennai performed Gajje Nrityam. Other art forms included Drum Instruments,  Ghata Vinyasam, Bonala dance, Lambadi dance, Kolatam from Visakhapatnam, Legim instrument entertained the devotees.

A total of 226 artists participated in 10 art groups.

Program Officer of HDPP Sri. Rajagopala Rao, HDPP Secretary Dr. Srinivasulu, Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Dr. Ananda Theerthacharyulu are supervising these programs.

Chennai umbrellas presented by the Hindu Dharmarta Samiti for decorating the Garuda Vahana procession during the Srivari Brahmotsavam on September 22, reached Tirumala on Thursday morning.

The Samiti trustee Sri RR Gopalji who accompanied the umbrellas presented them to TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy in front of the Srivari Temple.

The umbrellas were paraded on the Mada streets ahead of being taken inside the temple for decorating them during Garuda Vahana.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Gopalji said that all 11 umbrellas were brought from Chennai and the procession began on September 16 after special pujas at Sri Chennakeshava Perumal temple of which 2 umbrellas were presented to Sri Padmavati Ammavaru temple in Tiruchanoor on Wednesday.

The umbrellas are being presented to Tirumala since 19 years for decorating during the Garuda Vahana.

On the fourth day morning on Thursday as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams, three spiritual books were released in front of Kalpavriksha Vahanam.

The books included ''Vimanarchana Kalpamu'' by Dr C Bhavanarayanacharyulu, ''Annamaiah Sankeertana Kaumudi'' by Sri Malladi Suribabu,  'Ramanataka Keertanai'' by Dr RV Kamala Kannan in Tamil were released by TTD Chairman Sri B Karunakara Reddy along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

Delhi LAC Chief Smt Prasanthi Reddy, JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, SE2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma and others were present.

As a part of Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam, Andal Sri Goda Devi garlands from Srivilliputtur in Tamil Nadu reached Tirumala on Thursday to decorate during Garuda Seva on Friday evening.

First, the garlands were brought to the Sri Pedda Jiyar Mutt near Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswamy Temple.  Special pujas were performed in the presence of Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jiyar Swamy and Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jiyar Swamy.

From there, TTD EO Sri. AV Dharma Reddy, Tamil Nadu Endowments Department Joint Commissioner Sri. Selladorai, Srivilliputtur Temple EO Sri. Muthuraja and Trust Board member Sri. Manoharan took the garlands of Godadevi to the Srivari temple in a procession through the streets of the temple.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, EO said that it is customary to offer Godadevi Malas from Srivilliputtur to Tirumala.  He said that these sacred garlands will be decorated to Swami during Garuda Seva.

         శ్రీవారి సాల‌క‌ట్ల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో నాలుగో రోజైన గురువారం రాత్రి స‌ర్వ‌భూపాల‌ వాహనసేవలో వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి విచ్చేసిన కళాబృందాలు చక్కటి ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చాయి.

        హైదరాబాదుకు చెందిన సంతోశ్ బృందం పేర్ని నృత్యం, తిరుప‌తిలోని ఎస్వీ సంగీత క‌ళాశాల‌కు చెందిన క‌ళాకారులు మోహినీయట్టం, దాస‌సాహిత్య ప్రాజెక్టు క‌ళాకారులు జానపద నృత్యం, హైద‌రాబాద్‌కు చెందిన నాగార్జున బృందం థింసా నృత్యం, భ‌ద్రాచ‌లానికి చెందిన అర్జున్ బృందం కొమ్ముకొయ్య‌, హైదరాబాద్‌కు చెందిన పార్థసారథి బృందం భరతనాట్యం, క‌విత బృందం బోనాల కోలాటం, తెలంగాణ‌కు చెందిన రాము బృందం బిందెల బంజార నృత్యం ఆక‌ట్టుకున్నాయి. అదేవిధంగా, హైదరాబాద్‌కు చెందిన‌ పి.వి.కె.కుందనిక బృందం కూచిపూడి, విశాఖపట్నంకు చెందిన సునిత బృందం దేవీనృత్యం, హైదరాబాద్‌కు చెందిన శాంతి దుర్గా బృందం కోలాటం అల‌రించాయి. మొత్తం 11 కళాబృందాల్లో 254 మంది కళాకారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

  శ్రీవారి సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో నాలుగో రోజైన గురువారం రాత్రి శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ మలయప్పస్వామి స‌ర్వ‌భూపాల‌ వాహనంపై వేణుగోపాలకృష్ణుడి అలంకారంలో దర్శనమిచ్చారు. వాహనం ముందు గజరాజులు నడుస్తుండగా, భక్తజన బృందాలు భజనలు, కోలాటాలు, జీయ్యంగార్ల గోష్టితో స్వామివారిని కీర్తిస్తుండగా, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ స్వామివారి వాహనసేవ కోలాహలంగా జరిగింది.

       సర్వభూపాల అంటే అందరు రాజులు అని అర్థం. వీరిలో దిక్పాలకులు కూడా చేరతారు. తూర్పుదిక్కుకు ఇంద్రుడు, ఆగ్నేయానికి అగ్ని, దక్షిణానికి యముడు, నైరుతికి నిరృతి, పశ్చిమానికి వరుణుడు, వాయువ్యానికి వాయువు, ఉత్తరానికి కుబేరుడు, ఈశాన్యానికి పరమేశ్వరుడు అష్టదిక్పాలకులుగా విరాజిల్లుతున్నారు. వీరందరూ స్వామివారిని తమ భుజస్కంధాలపై, హృదయంలో ఉంచుకుని సేవిస్తారు. తద్వారా వారి పాలనలో ప్రజలు ధన్యులవుతారు అనే సందేశాన్ని ఈ వాహనసేవ నుంచి గ్రహించవచ్చు.
