Clothes Presented to Srivari Temple Staff






The Honourable MP of Rajya Sabha, Sri. Vemireddi Prabhakar Reddy, along with his spouse and President of the Delhi Local Advisory Committee, Smt Vemireddi Prashanthi Reddy, presented clothes to the vahanam bearers, melam staff, Potu staff of the Srivari temple who rendered impeccable services during the annual Brahmotsavams on Monday at Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala.


They gifted the clothes over the hands of TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


Speaking to the media on this occasion, EO  said that the couple presents clothes to the temple staff every year during Brahmotsavams.  He wished them the blessings of Swamy Varu for their noble gesture.


Tirupati Denizens Enjoy Devotional Feast








On Monday, the eighth day of Srivari annual Brahmotsavam, religious and musical programs organized under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharmic Projects at various venues in Tirumala and Tirupati attracted devotees and denizens.


In the evening, Annamayya Vinnapalu by Sri V. Krishna team and Harikatha Parayanam by Smt.Vijayakumari team mused the audience in Astana Mandapam at Tirumala.


At Ramachandra Pushkarini stage in Tirupati Sri P.Ramanavani enthralled the gathering with her melodious singing of Annamacharya's kirtans.


At Mahati Kalakshetra, the famous flutist from Hyderabad, Dr.  Jayaprada Ramamurthy mesmerized the devotees with her flute concert.


These programs were conducted under the supervision of Hindu Dharmaprachara Parishad.


Teamwork Lauded





The teamwork of TTD officials and employees who have been deputed for special duties in Four Mada streets, outside lines, sectors etc. was appreciated by TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam.


During the Sectoral Officers meeting held at Tirumala on Monday he lauded the dedicated teamwork of all the officers which resulted in the successful completion of Garuda Seva. ''Work with the same spirit for the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams also which is just 20 days away'', he affirmed.


Later he received feedback from all sectoral officers to provide better facilities to devotees further during the upcoming big fete.


SE2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, senior officers deputed as Sectoral Officers were also present.


Training for Degree College Teachers at SVETA




A one-day training program was held at SVETA on Monday morning to teachers of all TTD degree colleges. 


Speaking on the occasion Sri M Nagraj, the national trainer said all the TTD educational institutions will soon get autonomous status and also  NAAC recognition and hence all proceedings had to be in place with an understanding of weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and restraints.


As chief guest, the TTD educational officer Dr Bhaskar Reddy said all faculty members should utilize the training program to enhance the reputation of the institutions. 


SVETA Director Smt Prashanti, education advisor Sri Mohan Kumar Reddy, college principals Smt Mahadevamma, Smt Narayanamma and Sri Venugopal Reddy were present. 

Dasavatara Casts Magic Spell
















On Monday evening, the eighth day of Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, the performances of art groups organized under the aegis of TTD Hindu Dharmic Projects before Aswa Vahana Seva impressed the devotees in a big way.


A total of 288 artists performed in 11 groups performed various arts during the procession of Vahanam.


Under the direction of the Principal of TTD run Sri Venkateswara Sangeet Nritya College, Tirupati, Smt. Umamuddubala, the students entertained devotees with Dasavatara Vaibhavam wearing the attires depicting ten incarnations of Lord in a colourful manner. 


Teams from Anantapur, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati entertained with Rajasthani dance.


Sri Y.G.Katthikar from Maharashtra mesmerized with Yogachap vinyasas.


The women employees of TTD were impressed with their Kolata dance performances under the direction of Kripavati troupe.


All Projects Programming Officer Sri. Rajagopala Rao, HDPP Secretary Sri. Srinivasulu, Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri. Ananda Theerthacharyulu supervised these programs.


Splendour Marked Rathotsavam
















On the penultimate day of the nine-day  Srivari annual Brahmotsavam on a bright sunny Monday morning, the procession of a mammoth wooden chariot was observed with religious fervour in Tirumala.


The devotees pulled the giant Ratham with spiritual ecstasy chanting of ‘Govinda' ‘Govinda' along four mada streets.


After the special rituals such as ‘Punyavachanam' and ‘Navagraha dhyanam,' the processional deities of Sri Malayappa and His two divine consorts were ceremoniously mounted atop the wooden chariot amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by the temple pundits.


Tens of thousands of devotees participated in the divine procession that began at 6:55am and continued till 9am.


The chariot glided majestically on the mada streets preceded by the royal entourage of caparisoned elephants, horses, bulls, cultural and bhajan troupes besides a contingent of Vedic Pundits led by Jeeyars and the priests of the temple. 


The TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and others were present.
