Mantralaya Pontiff Commends the Paruveta Mandapam Renovation
Mantralaya Pontiff Sri Sri Subudendra Theertha Swamy on Wednesday commended the rejuvenation of the dilapidated Paruveta Mandapam by TTD keeping in view the convenience of devotees.
After a visit to the centuries-old Mandapam built during the period of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, the pontiff said the purpose of his visit was to personally assess the historic and holy Mandapam after the criticism on its renovation by TTD.
He said the sight of the Mandapam reminded him of its spiritual glory and said heaping unprincipled and wayward criticism on TTDs developmental activities is not a correct practice.
The Pontiff also complimented the TTD Trust Board and the EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy for undertaking such constructive and crucial development activities in the larger interests of the pilgrims.

TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy on Wednesday asserted that the recruitment in the vacant posts of the Engineering Department in TTD will be conducted in full transparent manner without giving space for any recommendations.
Addressing a media conference along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Sri Padmavati Rest House, he said neither the TTD Board nor TTD officials will involve and there is no room for recommendations and applicants should not get cheated by approaching brokers, he reiterated. The TTD Board Chief said the recruitment of 60 posts is being carried out on a complete merit basis through exams with the paper prepared by experts from IIT Chennai. "In a phased manner we will fulfil vacancy in educational institutions also", he maintained.
Adding further he said Notifications in prominent newspapers were issued for civil engineering posts besides being uploaded on TTD website and given scrolling in SVBC channel also.
The Chairman earlier briefed about the importance of Sri Srinivasa Divyanugraha Homam which is set to commence with a grand procession of various artistes from SV Vedic University to Alipiri Go Mandiram on Thursday.
He said the motto of the Homam is for the well-being of the humanity.

Kaisika Dwadasi and Chakra Theertha Mukkoti on 24th Nov
On the occasion of Kaisika Dwadasi, the processional deities of Ugra Sreenivasamurty along with Consorts will take a celestial ride along four mada streets during the early hours of Friday between 4:45am and 5:45am.
On the other hand, Chakratheertha Mukkoti will be observed at one of the important sacred torrents at Chakra Theertham by TTD temple staff and religious persons.
Special pujas will be offered to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, Narasimha Swamy and Anjaneya Swamy located in this holy place.
