Karthika Snapanam Held











In view of Karthika Vanabhojanam, Snapana Tirumanjanam was held at Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala on Sunday to the Utsava deities.


Usually, TTD observes  Vanabhojanam in the auspicious month of Karthika at Paruveta Mandapam. But in the wake of cyclone alerts, it shifted the venue this year to Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in front of Tirumala temple.


After Snapanam, Anna prasadams were distributed to devotees.


TTD has cancelled arjita sevas for the day in view of this event.


Temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham, temple Peishkar Sri Srihari, Potu Peishkar Sri Srinivasulu and others were also present.


Jyothishya Shastra Directs the Human Lifestyle






Sri Chakravarthy Ranganathan, professor of National Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, informed that human survival is determined by Jyothishya Sastra (astrology)as revealed in Pancharatra Agama.


Under the joint auspices of TTD Alwar Divya Prabandha Project, Bhagwatshastra Pancharatra Agama Samrakshana Sabha, the Akhila Bharata Bhagwatshastra Pancharatra Agama Vidwat Sammelan concluded on Sunday at the Asthana Mandapam at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur.


Acharya Ranganathan, who was the special guest of the program, said that Indian dance, music, musical instruments and astrology are involved in Pancharatra Agama.


Sri Vamanacharyulu, Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacharyulu, Sri Vedanta Desikar sustained the tenets of Pancharatra Agama.


Later, the book "Sri Bhavishyakara Samhita" of Pancharatra Agama Shastra was unveiled by Sri LN Bhattar, a retired professor of National Sanskrit Vidyapeeth.


Later students and teachers of Tirumala Dharmagiri Veda Vigyana Peetham, SV Vedic University, Melkoti Vedic School, Srirangam Vedic School participated.


TTD Sri Pancharatra Agama Advisor Sri Srinivasacharyulu, Alwar Divya Prabandha Project Co-ordinator Sri Purushottam and others participated in this program.

TTD Stalls Theertha Sannam in Sri Kapileswara Swmay Vari Temple



In view of non-stop rains following the Cyclone Michaung effect, the waters is gushing out in Sri Kapilathirtham in Tirupati.


In view of devotee safety, TTD has temporarily stalled the permission for devotees taking holy bath in this torrent waters till the situation turns to normalcy.


The devotees are requested to make note of this and co-operate with TTD management.
