Special Programs on the Occasion of Dhanurmasam In TTD Local Temples




Special programs will be conducted from December 17 to January 14 on the occasion of Dhanurmasam in all the Sri Vaishnava local temples of TTD.  The sacred Dhanurmasam starts on December 17 at 12.34 AM.


In Srinivasamangapuram Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple daily  Tiruppavai parayanam will be recited in the place of Suprabhatam and Dhanurmasa darshan will be offered to the devotees. 


Due to this reason, Suprabhatham Seva Tickets will not be issued.  Devotees are requested to note this.


In Tiruchanur Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple devotees are provided with Dhanurmasa darshanam from December 17 to January 14.  On the first day, on the evening of December 17, the Sahasradl Deepalankara seva remains cancelled.


Dhanurmasa darshan is offered to the devotees in the temple for a month between 4.30 am to 6 am.


Similarly, Tiruppavai Parayanam and Dhanurmasa darshan are offered to the devotees in place of Suprabhatam from 4 am to 5.30 am at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati.


Dhanurmasa kainkaryas will be held at Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati from 4 am to 5 am and Dhanurmasa darshan will be offered to devotees between 5.30 am and 8 am.

Chief Pontiff of Sri Sri Sode Variraja Matha, Udipi Offered Prayers to Lord Venkateswara





Sri Sri Sri Vishwa Vallabhatirtha Swamy of Sri Sode Vadiraja Matha, Udipi offered prayers in the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara on Wednesday.

 

He was accorded a traditional welcome amidst the chanting of Veda mantras. DyEO Sri Haridranath welcomed the pontiff of Vadiraja Matha.

ADHYAYANOTSAVAMS COMMENCES IN TIRUMALA TEMPLE



The 25-day lengthiest festival among 450 odd festivals that are being observed in Tirumala, the Adhyayanotsavams commenced on a grand religious note in Tirumala temple on Tuesday evening at Ranganayakula Mandapam.


During this period the Nalayira Divyaprabandha Pasura Parayanam will be rendered by Jeeyangars.


It usually starts 11 days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi in Dhanurmasam and the first 11 days are called Pagalpattu and the remaining 10 days are called Rapattu.  On the 22nd day Kanninun Shiruthambu, on the 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, on the 24th day Sri Varahaswami Sattumora and on the 25th day the festival concludes.


Tirumala pontiffs, TTD top brass officials, temple staff participated in the event.


HOMA MAHOTSAVAMS CONCLUES

The month-long Homa Mahotsavams concluded on a grand religious note in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Tuesday evening.


Earlier in the morning Sri Chandikeswara Swamy Homam was held followed by the sacred procession of Panchamurthies on respective Tiruchis including Sri Vighneswara Swamy, Sri Valli Devasena Sameta Sri Subrahmanya Swamy, Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Devi and Sri Chandikeswara Swamy.


DyEO Sri Devendra Babu and other temple officials, staffs, devotees participated.

UPDATE TTD WEBSITE WITH INFO ON LOCAL TEMPLES OF TTD-EO

 TTD EO Sri. AV Dharma Reddy ordered the officials to update the website with all the details to give wide publicity to the TTD local temples and affiliated temples in Tirupati and other areas. The EO conducted a review of the local temples at the TTD administration building in Tirupati on Tuesday.


Speaking on this occasion, the EO said that there are more than 60 local temples and affiliated temples under TTD, and requested JEO Sri Veerabrahmam to inform the devotees about the location, arjita sevas, darshan hours and other facilities related to these temples through the website. 


In the past TTD used to make publicity with pamphlets and propaganda materials available to the devotees in different ways, and in the recent trend towards digital media, it is suggested to modernize the website and through SVBC. 


The EO instructed the SVBC to make short video clips related to the uniqueness of the temple and take it to the masses through various media. That way more people will know about the temples.

TELANGANA DEPUTY CM OFFERS PRAYERS IN SRIVARI TEMPLE

TIRUMALA, 12 Dec,2023: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with his family members offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Tuesday morning.

 

They were accorded a warm welcome by the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at the entrance of the temple.

 

After having of Darshan of Lord Venkateswara, DyCM was offered Vedasirvachanam, prasadam of Lord, sesha vastram and teertham in Ranganayakula Mandapam.

  

Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham, Reception Official Sri Ramakrishna, and other officials were present.

 

AYURVEDA SHOULD GUIDE THE WORLD

 TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi called upon Ayurveda doctors to emerge as a vanguard in Ayurvedic Medicine with extensive research and development.


Inaugurating the CME training program under the Ayush ministry held at the SV Ayurveda College in Tirupati on Monday, the JEO said upon the directions of TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy the training camp is being held till December 16 wherein 12 eminent ayurvedic experts conduct sessions for Ayurveda students and practitioners from viz. AP, TS, TN, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Tripura and Maharashtra are also participating.


She exhorted for utilising ancient knowledge of Ayurveda adapted to modern technology with innovations for upgrading Indian supremacy in the health sector. The Vedas are embedded with Ayurvedic medical knowledge whose amalgamation with modern technology and research will help the society, she asserted.


She said TTD is making all efforts to establish an Ayurvedic University for the benefit of students, researchers and experts in South India.


CAuO Sri Sesha Shailendra said the Pancha Karma treatment which costs around 1.5 lakhs in private hospitals is being provided free of cost in SV Ayurveda Hospital and the SV Ayurveda pharmacy has already introduced two major products and many more are in the offing.


SV Physiotherapy College Principal Dr Madhavi Lata, SV Ayurvedic College Principal Dr Renu Dixit highlighted the research work and Dhanwantari programs promoted by TTD institution.


DEO Dr Bhaskar Reddy, Ayurveda College Nodal Officer Dr Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, faculty and students of the Ayurveda college were also present.
