Sahasra Purusha Vedaswasti by TTD in February





TTD is organising yet another prestigious and unique Dharmic programme, Sahasra Purusha Vedaswasti in the first week of February 2024 in the Parade Grounds behind the TTD Administrative Building to impart knowledge of Four Vedas to humans for a hassle-free living.


Addressing a review meeting on the subject at the TTD Administrative Building on Thursday evening the JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi asked the officials to make all arrangements including inviting eminent Vedic scholars from all over the country besides the scheme Parayanadars of the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Higher Vedic Studies.


Among others, the officials were asked to coordinate with all departments to organise committees for the management of food, medicine, accommodation, programming, transport etc.


Acharya Rani Sadasiva Murthy, the Vice Chancellor of SVVU, Registrar Sri Radhesyam, CAuO Sri Sesha Shailendra, Dharmic Projects program officer Sri Rajagopal, HDPP Secretary Sri Somayajulu, SVIHVS  special officer Dr Akella Vibhishana Sharma were present.


Construction of 3615 Temples with Srivani Trust - TTD Eo






TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said that under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana Trust (SRIVANI), TTD has so far commissioned construction and rejuvenation of 3615  temples.


Addressing a review meeting at the TTD administrative building on Thursday evening the EO said so far construction of 1500 temples while another 1973 temple works were taken up by the Endowments Department.


He urged officials to ensure the completion of the remaining temples also as per schedule.


The representatives of Samarasata Seva Foundation Sri Vishnu and Sri Trinath expressed that the people of backward regions where these temples were constructed are immensely happy. They also said Social Audit of these temples have also been carried out.


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, FACAO Sri Balaji, CAuO Sri Sesha Sailendra and others were present.


Tiruppavai Pravachanams to Begin From 16th Dec



As part of Dhanur masa festivities TTD's Alwar Divya Prabanda Project is organising Tiruppavai Pravachanams by eminent scholars at four locations in the Tirupati city besides 216 places across the nation.


At Tirupati on Saturday evening 5.30pm the Pravachanams will commence at Annamacharya Kalamandiram with pravachanams by Tirumala Jeeyarswamis and Acharya  Chakravarti Ranganathan.


Till the end of Dhanurmasam the pravachanams will be performed at Annamacharya Kala mandir, Sri Varadaraja Swami temple at KT road, Gita Mandiram in Ramnagar Sri Lakshmi Narayana temple at South Mada street of  Govindarajaswami temple and finally Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumalagunta.


Similarly the holy Pravachanams will be performed by eminent scholars appointed by  TTD at 216 cities and towns across AP,Telangana,Tamilnadu,Karnataka,Puducherry,Maharashtra,Odisha also.





Akhanda Parayanams On 23rd December at Tirumala



As part of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Gita Jayanti festivities on December 23, TTD is organising Sampurna Bhagavad Gita Akhanda Parayanam and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam at Nada Niranjanam platform in Tirumala on that day.



The Parayanams of 700 shlokas from Bhagavad Gita will be held at 12 noon in the afternoon followed by Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam from 6 pm onwards.


Faculty of SV Vedic University, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham and SV Institute of Higher Vedic Studies besides TTD Vedic pundits and Sri Annamacharya project artists and devotees will participate.


The SVBC channel will live telecast the programme for the benefit of Srivari devotees across the world.
