TTD Eo and JEo (H&E) Laud Doctor for the Award



Dr M Jayachandra Reddy, Oncology specialist and OSD at Srinivasa Balaji Institute of  Oncology, SVIMS who bagged the prestigious award of Young Surgeon of India given by the Association of Surgeons of India.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi lauded the SVIMS doctor who is also an honorary advisor to the Government of AP on Cancer treatment and chemotherapy daycare centres.


The award was presented to Dr Jayachandra Reddy at its annual convention held at Visakhapatnam.


The Association of surgeon India (ASI) set up in 1938  has been giving away the prestigious award after selection by senior experts committee selection for young surgeons below 40 years of age.

The Honourable Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Abdul Naseer reached Tirumala on Monday evening.


On his arrival at Rachana Rest House, he was received by the TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and other officials.


Applications Invited for Evening Courses at SV Traditional Sculpture College



TTD has called for applications from eligible students for evening courses at the Sri Venkateswara Traditional Architecture College for the academic year 2023-24.


The new one-year certificate courses introduced for evening session includes Traditional KalamKari art and Basics in Temple Sculpture for students.


Interested men and women with qualifications of 10th class pass and no age limit shall submit before the evening of December 31 at the college.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Srivari Temple on 19th Dec



Ahead of the Vaikunta Ekadasi fete, TTD is organising the traditional temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Srivari Temple on December 19.


Usually, this ritual is held before Ugadi, Anivara Asthanam, annual Brahmotsavam and Vaikunta Ekadasi in a year. This cleansing fete takes place between 6am and 10am. The darshan commences from 10.30am onwards.


In view of the fete, TTD has cancelled Asta dala padmaradhana Seva on the day.


Special Puja at Srinivasa Mangapuram for Vaikunta Ekadasi Celebrations



In connection with the Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi celebrations at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram, TTD is organising special pujas.


On the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, the Dhanur masa Kainkaryas including Tomala, kouvu and panchanga Shravana will be held in Ekantham between 12.05-2.30 am in the early hours of December 23 and devotees allowed Sarva Darshan between 2.30 am to evening 4.00 pm.


Earlier between  6.00-7.00 am Swami and Amavaru will be paraded on Bangaru Tiruchi on Mada streets.In the evening Sarva Darshan is provided from 5.00-9.00 pm,


Similarly on December 24 morning after Dhanur masa Kainkaryas etc chakra snanam is performed between 10am and 11 am.


On the new year as per the English calendar day on January 1 after Dhanur masa and daily Kainkaryas Sarva Darshan is provided between 7.00 am to, evening 5.00 pm and again after night Kainkaryas, Darshan is resumed from6.00pm to 8 pm.


In view of the festivities, TTD has cancelled Arjita Kalyanotsavam on December 23, 24 and January 1.


The artists of Dharmic projects and Annamacharya projects present Bhakti sangeet and sankeertans in the temple.


Copper Plates Tender Cum Auctio9n on 4th Jan



TTD is organising a tender cum auction offline for silver-coated copper plates donated by devotees at Srivari temple and other local temples on January 4.


There are 27 lots of 5400 kgs of silver-coated copper plates ready for tender cum auctioning.
