Gita Akhanda Parayanam Held

The Akhanda Bhagavat Gita Parayanam was held at Tirumala Nada Neerajanam on Saturday held on the occasion of Gita Jayanti.

Eminent scholars, Sri Kuppa Vishwanatha Sharma, Sri Seshacharyulu, Sri Maruti led the recitation of Shlokas.

The SVVU VC Sri Ranisadasiva Murty, Dharmagiri Principal Sri KSS Avadhani, vedic pundits, devotees participated.

Earlier, Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam was held on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

Vaikuntadwara Sarva Darshan Commenced at 5.15 AM - TTD Eo

TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said on Saturday in connection with the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi festive day, devotees had a satisfactory Vaikuntadwara Darshan for which TTD had made elaborate arrangements.

Speaking to media in front of Srivari temple on Saturday morning the Chairman greeted devotees and said devotees had comfortable Vaikuntadwara Darshan and blessings of Sri Venkateswara without any hassle on the holy day.

TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said the Vaikuntadwara Sarva Darshan began 45 minutes ahead of schedule at 5.15 am and as per time slots the special Darshan and Sarva Darshan devotees were allowed for Srivari Darshan.

He said Anna Prasadam, coffee and tea were provided to devotees. In all 8 lakh devotees are expected to be given Darshan including the special entry Darshan, Sarva Darshan and others during these ten days of Vaikuntadwara Darshan festivities at Tirumala.

Grand Swarna Rathotsavam Held on Vaikunta Ekadasi Day

Devotees had a feast of Bhakti unfurled on Vaikunta Ekadasi day with the Swarna Rathotsavam

on Mada streets on Saturday.

Sri Malayappa Swami and His consorts took out a celestial ride on the Swarna Ratham to bless the sea of devotees who thronged Tirumala as the Ratham richly decorated with flowers was drawn by TTD women employees and women devotees chanting Govinda Nama.

TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, several board members, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi and Sri Veerabrahmam and officials were present.
