Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra Akhanda Parayanam Held
In connection with Bhishma Ekadashi on Tuesday, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra Akhanda Parayanam was held by TTD on at Nada Nirajanam stage in Tirumala to spread devotion for the welfare of the entire humanity.
While many devotees participated directly, lakhs of devotees recited in their homes through the live telecast of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.
TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy participated in this recitation program.
Sanskrit scholars, Sriman Koganti Ramanujacharya, Sri Maruti and Sri Ananthagopalakrishna led the recitation.
On this occasion, TTD Annamacharya project artist Smt. Kavitha team sang "Ani Yanathichche Krishnadarjununito..." and other Sankeertans melodiously.
Vedic scholars and students from Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham, SV Vedic University, Tirupati, National Sanskrit University, SV Higher Vedic Institute, Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Vedic School, devotees participated in this programme.
Arrangements for Tirupati Origin Ceremony on Spree - TTD Chairman
TTD Chairman Sri. Bhumana Karunakara Reddy asked the officials to intensify the arrangements to organize the Tirupati Origin ceremony on February 24 in a massive manner.
The Chairman held a meeting with the officials on Tuesday evening at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on the arrangements for this program.
On this occasion, the Chairman said that Tirumala should celebrate the birthday of our Tirupati, the city of Srivari Pada Peetham.
It is said that the city of Tirupati came into existence on 24-02-1130 on Souryanama year, Palguna Poornami, Uttara Nakshatra, Monday. The great Sri Vaishnava Saint, Bhagavad Sri Ramanujacharya had enshrined Sri Govindarajaswamy in Tirupati on that day, designed Kainkaryams as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama.
He also started the construction of four mada streets encircling the shrine.
Initially Tirupati was called "Govindaraja Puram", then "Ramanujapuram" and since the beginning of the 13th century it is been known as Tirupati.
As part of Tirupati Origin ceremony, the procession will start from Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple at 8 am on February 24.
In this, TTD's Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Dasa Sahitya Project, SV College of Music and Dance in collaboration with different art forms, present cultural programs.
There will be various art forms Mangaladhwani and Veda Ghosha. A procession will be held from Govindaraja Swamivari Temple to Karnala Street, Beri Street, Gandhi Road and Anjaneya Swamivari Temple.
The officials of the respective departments of TTD should make arrangements in advance.
He also directed to coordinate with the police and regulate the traffic without any problem.

TTD Chairman Unveils Booklets of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Annual Brahmotsavams
TTD Board Chief Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy unveiled the booklets of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Tuesday evening at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati.
The nine-day fest of Brahmotsavam starts with Dwajarohanam on February 29 with Ankurarpanam on the evening of February 28. Important days includes, Garuda Vahanam on March 4, Swarnaratham on March 5, Rathotsavam on March 7 and Chakrasnanam on March 8.
TTD JEO Sri. Veerabraham, temple Special Grade DyEO Smt. Varalakshmi, others participated in this program.
Parliamentary Committee Lauds TTD's Effective Pilgrim Measures
The team of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs led by its Chairman Sri Brijlal has lauded the effective pilgrim welfare and security measures taken up by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD).
During their two day visit to the pilgrim centre, the Parliamentary Committee was explained about the various socio-economic-religious activities taken up by TTD since its inception and progressive methodologies adopted in the last nine decades by the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy with the help of a 40-minute AV on TTD at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday.
Later sharing their experience to the media, the Committee Chairman said, it was a great experience to have the Darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. He also appreciated the effective pilgrim crowd management practices, sanitation, security measures, and Disaster Management Plan system adopted by TTD keeping in view the safety and security of its employees, pilgrims, and ecology.
The Committee members includes, Sri Biplav Kumar Dev, Sri Neeraj Sekhar, Sri Dilip Ghosh, Sri Dulalchandra Goswami, Sri Raja Amareswara Naik, Dr Satyapal Singh, Dr Nishikant Dube and other officials from the department of Home Affairs.
JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, Joint Collector Sri Subham Bansal and SP Smt Mallika Garg and other senior officers from TTD, district, police departments have also participated.
₹43 Lakh Donated to Trusts
Sri Varthaman Jain, founder of Bengaluru-based Axis Healthcare Services Pvt Ltd, has donated Rs 43 lakh to various trusts in TTD.
The donor handed over the DDs for the same to TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at the Ranganayaka Mandapam in Tirumala Srivari Temple on Tuesday.
Of this, Rs 33,33,000 was given to SV Annaprasadam Trust and Rs 10,11,000 to SVBC Trust of TTD.
Unveling of Jubilee Hills Sri Venkateswara Swamy's Brahmotsavam Mural
TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy unveiled the Brahmotsavam wall poster of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The program was held at the Chairman's residence in Padmavathi Puram in Tirupati.
The annual Brahmotsavam will be held in this temple from March 8 to 16.
Brahmotsavam starts on the evening of March 7 with Ankurarpanam. The Vahana Sevas will be observed from 8 AM to 9 AM and from 8 PM to 9 PM. Pushpayagam will be held on March 17 from 3pm to 5 pm.
Temple Deputy EO Sri M. Ramesh Babu participated in this program.
