Darsi MLA Donates 25 Sahiwal Cows

M Venugopal, MLA from Darsi, Prakasam district has donated 25 Gir- Sahiwal breed desi cows to TTD on Saturday in the presence of TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at SV Gosala in Tirupati.

Speaking on the occasion TTD Chairman said to meet the ghee needs of 30 kgs per day in Srivari temple for daily Kainkaryams, TTD needs 500 desi cows in addition to its existing stock of desi bovines.

Thereafter both the Chairman and EO performed special Pujas to the donated desi cows and fed them fodder.

Later they also facilitated the donor couple with Srivari Theertha Prasadams.SV Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy and other officials were present.

TTD JEO Inspects Arrangements for Brahmotsavams in Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Saturday inspected the arrangements for the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram scheduled from 29 February to March 8.

JEO directed garden, engineering and other departments to make coordinated efforts to ensure the success of the annual Brahmotsavam.

Among others, the Deployment of an adequate number of Srivari Sevakulu, live telecast by SVBC, all Dharmic projects to undertake cultural programs in front of Vahana Sevas, publicity through Prachara Ratham to neighbourhood villages, mobile toilets, additional sanitary workers, parking lots, vigilance and police coordination, deployment of vehicles.

He advised Temple Spl Gr.DyEO Smt Varalakshmi and CPRO Dr T Ravi to coordinate with all departments and ensure the success of the annual event.

Chairman Releases Booklet on Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple Brahmotsavams

TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy on Saturday released the booklet on the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara temple slated from March 1 -10 with Ankurarpanam on February 29 evening.

The program was held at Sri Padmavati Rest House in the presence of Temple DyEO Sri Devendra Babu and other officials of the temple.
