Vengamamba Audio CD Release
The Adivo Alladivo program organized by SVBC concluded on Friday with the grand release of an Audio CD comprised of Tarigonda Vengamba Sankeertans by SVBC Chairman Dr Saikrishna Yachendra and SVETA Director Sri Bhumana Subramanya Reddy.
They presented the CD to Sri Ramulu, donor from Guntur during the Day-3 program organised at Mahati Auditorium.
Thereafter they presented prizes to singers Pavan Charan Sai Charan Lokeswar and Harani.
Among others eminent writer from Chennai Shobha Raj was present.
Employees Welfare is my Vision - TTD Chairman
TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy reiterated that his vision is at empowering subordinate staff.
He was addressing the facilitation program organised by TTD workforce including the regular, contract and outsourcing employees in the Parade Grounds of TTD administrative building on Friday evening.
Vedic pandits of Srivari temple offered Veda Ashirvarvachanam to him on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion he said with the assurance of the Honourable CM of AP and with the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara that he has become the Chairman of TTD for the second time to serve employees and devotees.
Speaking on the occasion earlier JEO Sri Veerabrahmam said chairman initiative to get house sites and regularisation of contract employees were commendable.
TTD CPRO Dr T Ravi said the Chairman had fruitified 30 years dreams of employees.
Thereafter senior officials of the welfare Association, Srivari temple employees, ugranam, Vahanam bearers, printing, sales wing, PR department, transport staff etc presented shawls and felicitated Chairman with Gaja Mala.
The Employees Unions leaders thanked the Chairman for his generosity and keeping up his word by pouring laurels.
Grand Finale of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Teppotsavam
The annual Teppotsavam (float festival) of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple came to a ceremonious conclusion on Friday evening.
In the morning the utsava idols of swamy and His consorts were rendered snapana thirumanjanam.
Later in the evening Sri Govindarajaswami and His consorts blessed devotees taking a float ride for seven rounds in the temple tank.
Tirumala pontiffs temple DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Munikrishna Reddy, Superintendent Sri Mohan Rao and devotees were present.
All Set for Kumaradhara Thirtha Mukkoti Fete
TTD Vigilance and Police conducted a review at the Command Control room in PAC 4 on Friday at Tirumala on all security arrangements for the Kumaradhara Thirtha Mukkoti fete scheduled for February 24.
Devotees will be allowed to visit Kumaradhara Thirtham from 5.30 am to 12 noon but those with asthma, heart ailments, chronic diseases, infants and senior citizens will not be permitted in view of the hazardous forest route. Only permitted devotees will be transported by bus from
Gogarbham dam to Papavinasam dam and other private vehicles, taxis are banned.
Arrangements are made with security personnel at select spots between Papavinasam to Kumaradhara Thirtha.
Drinking water facilities were made on the route and Anna Prasadam department organised the distribution of Pongal, sambar rice, curd rice and milk for devotees at Papavinasam.
The engineering department has set up sheds, ladders and water taps, besides ambulances, doctors and paramedics with medicines.
Additional SP Sri Siva Rami Reddy, VGOs Sri Nanda Kishore and Sri Giridhar,. Health officer Dr Sridevi, EE-1 Sri Jaganmohan Reddy, AVSOs Sri Giridhar, Sri Manohar, Sri Sivaiah, Sri Shailendra Babu and others were present.
