Brahomtsavams of Tarigonda Temple from 16th March to 24th March
TTD is organising the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Tarigonda between March 16-24 with Ankurarpanam fete on March 15.
On all days Vahana Sevas will be held in the morning and evening.
The following are important events - Dwajarohanam on March 16, Hanumanta Vahana 17, Garuda Vahana on March 21 and Dwajavarohanam on March 24.
TTD is organising Kalyanotsavam on March 21 and Pushpa Yagam on March 25.
Special Festivals in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple in March
Following are special festivals and events to be held in the Sri Govindaraja Swami temple, in Tirupati in March 2024.
March 1,8,15,29 -Fridays - Sri Andal Devi will bless devotees on Mada streets.
March 8 -Sravana Nakshatram- Sri Kalyana Venkateswara along with Sri Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi will
Bless devotees on Mada streets.
March 16 - Rohini Nakshatra- Sri Parthasarathy swami with consorts Rukmini and Satyabhama will bless devotees on Mada streets.
March 25 Pournami- Panguni Uttara utsavam- Swamy will ride on Garuda Vahana on Mada streets and bless devotees.
Ankurarpanam Held
Ankurarpanam was observed in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple as a prelude to annu Brahmotsavam on Wednesday evening.
On the occasion in the morning, Koluvu and Panchanga Shravana were performed.
From 6pm to 8pm, after Punyahavachanam, Mritsangrahanam and Senadhipati Utsavam, the seed-sowing ritual was conducted.
Spl Gr Deputy EO of Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Gopinath, Superintendent Sri Chengalrayulu, Temple Inspector Sri. Kiran Kumar Reddy, temple priests and other officials participated in this program.
Garuda Flag hoisting on February 29
The Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy will begin on February 29 with the ceremonious ritual of Garuda flag hoisting.
As part of this, Trichy Utsavam will be held between 6.30 am to 8.30 am to the idols of Swami and Ammavarlu.
Between 8.40 am and 9 am, the flag hoisting ceremony will be held traditionally in the auspicious Meenalagnam.
On the same day, Unjal Seva will be held from 5pm to 6pm and Peddashesha Vahanaseva will be held between 7pm to 8 PM.
The vahana sevas will be observed between 8 am and 9 am and again from 7 pm to 8 pm everyday. Garuda Seva is on March 4.
