Silk Vastrams Presented





The Chandragiri MLA Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy couple and TTD ex- officio board member Sri Chevireddy Mohit Reddy presented silk clothes to the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy on Monday in honour of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam.


Dr. Bhaskar Reddy who reached the temple was welcomed by the JEO Sri VeeraBrahmam and the temple priests rendered a traditional welcome.

Lakshmi Kasula Haram Shobha Yatra










Tirumala Srivari Lakshmi kasulaharam Shobhayatra was held on Monday evening with grandeur. 


The procession began with grandeur from the TTD administration building in Tirupati to  Srinivasa Mangapuram.


As part of the Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, this ornament will be decorated to the Swamy in honour of the Garuda Seva on Monday night.  


Speaking on this occasion, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam said that during the Brahmotsavams Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy is being decorated with the Lakshmikasula Haram. 


This Lakshmiharam Shobhayatra started from the TTD administration building in Tirupati and reached Srinivasa Mangapuram via Sri Kodandaramalayam, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Mahathi Auditorium.  The journey went uproarious with bhajans and kolatams.  

         

Spl Gr Deputy EO of the temple, Smt Varalaxmi, VGO Sri Balireddy, Superintendent Sri. Chengal Rayalu, other officials and a large number of devotees participated in this program.


Silks Presented to Srisailam






As a part of ongoing Sivaratri Brahmotsavams of Sri Bhramaramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy in Srisailam, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy presented silk cloths on behalf of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Monday evening.


Srisailam Temple Chairman Sri Reddyvari Chakrapani Reddy, EO Sri Peddiraju and the priests welcomed the TTD officials who reached the temple and arranged them darshan. After that, the temple authorities gave them Tirtha and Prasadams.


Parupattedar Sri Tulsi Prasad and others participated.

Sports Competitions for TTD Employees








The details of TTD employees' sports competitions on Monday are as follows.


 - Sri Chiranjeevi's team won the employees' kabaddi competition while Tulsidham Reddy's team came runner-up.


 - Sri Surendra's team won while Sri. Venkataswamy's team came runner-up in the senior officers' ball badminton competition.


 -Smt Munilatha won the Women's Under 45 Passing the Luggage competition, while Smt Anuradha came the runner-up.


 - While smt Rajeshwari won the women's over 45 carrom singles competition, Vasudha was the runner-up.


 - The team of Radhika and Sasikala won the women's doubles competition in the over-45 carroms, while the team of Malleswari and Vijaya came the runners-up.

Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Varu on Garuda Seva















As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam at Srinivasa Mangapuram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, blessed His devotees on Garuda Vahana Seva on Monday evening.


While the pachyderms, horses and bulls in all their charm were marching in front of the vehicle,  groups of devotees were seen performing chekka bhajans and kolatams enthusiastically in front of the vahana seva.


Garuda Vahanam is the most important vehicle among the annual Brahmotsavams.  The devotees were thrilled to see the beauty and glory of the deity decked in precious clothes and ornaments besides Lakshmi Kasula Haram and seen chanting Govindaa... Govindaa.. with devotion throughout the procession.

Musical Night in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple









The music and dance programs organized by Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance and Sri Venkateswara Nadaswara and Dolu School of TTD on the fourth day of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swami on Monday night were impressive.


As part of this, on the stage set up in the premises of the temple, the lecturers and students of the vocal department of the college rendered several Sankeertans with emotion. This was followed by an enchanting dance performance by the Former Principal of the College Dr Prabhavati's disciples.


In this program, the Principal of the college Dr. Uma Muddubala and others participated.

Sri Kapileswara on Sesha









On Monday night, the fourth day of Sri Kapileswara Swamy annual Brahmotsavam in Tirupati, Sri Kapileswara Swamy appeared to the devotees in the form of Somaskandamurthy along with Goddess Kamakshi on Shesha Vahanam.


The Vahanaseva took place in the city streets amidst bhajan mandali kolatams, dances etc..


The Vahanaseva started from the temple and reached the temple back via Kapilatheertham Road, Anna Rao Circle, Vinayaka Nagar Quarters, Harerama Harekrishna temple, NGOs Colony, Alipiri Bypass Road. 

The devotees offered aartis at every step.


Temple Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, AEO Sri Subbaraju, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Sri Ravikumar, Sri Balakrishna and devotees participated in this program.
