The Hon'ble Governor of Telangana, Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan,
inaugurated a Handicraft Exhibitiontoday
at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad.
The Governor Dr. (Smt.)
Tamilisai Soundararajan stated, "This exhibition serves as a platform to showcase
the diverse traditions of Indian handloom and handicrafts, highlighting the
extraordinary talent and skills of artisans from across the nation."
She further appealed to
everyone to seize the opportunity to visit Rashtrapati Nilayam and immerse themselves
in the beauty of Indian history, culture, and artistry.
Prior
to the inauguration, the Visitors Facilitation Centre and Handloom exhibition at
Rashtrapati Nilayam was virtually inaugurated by the Hon'ble President of
India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, and Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Minister for
Transport and BC Welfare, Government of Telangana participated in inaugural
function.
Chetan Krishna and Hebah Patel stars in "Dhoom Dham.". It also stars Sai Kumar, Vennela Kishore, Prithviraj, and Goparaju Ramana in significant roles. The film is produced by MS Ram Kumar under the Friday Frame Works banner. Directed by Sai Kishore Macha and with a story and screenplay by Gopi Mohan, "Dhoom Dham" is a love and family entertainer currently in its final stages of shooting, gearing up for a release this summer. Today, the movie team unveiled the first look poster of "Dhoom Dham" on location. The poster, which shows the hero and heroines joyfully dancing in a Pelli Baraat, is colorful and striking. Gopi Sundar scoring the music for the film. The makers have expressed that "Dhoom Dham" is being crafted as a love and family entertainer that will captivate audiences for sure. The film is slated for 2024 summer release.

On the fifth day Sri Soma Skandamurty blessed His devotees on Tiruchi as a part of the annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.
As part of the annual Brahmotsavam at Srinivasa Mangapuram Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple, the Golden Chariot procession was held on Tuesday evening between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Sridevi Bhudevi sameta Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy ascended the shining golden chariot and blessed the devotees.
Special Grade Deputy EO of the temple Smt. Varalakshmi, VGO Sri Bali Reddy AEO Sri. Gopinath, Superintendents Sri. Venkata Swamy, Sri. Chengalrayulu, Temple Inspector Sri. Kiran Kumar Reddy participated in this program.
The details of TTD employees' sports competitions on Tuesday are as follows.
- Sri Gopalakrishna Reddy's team won the ball badminton competition for employees above 45 years of age while Sri Madhusudana Rao's team came the runner-up.
- Sri Chirla Kiran won the carroms singles competition for employees under 45 years of age and Sri Shankar Kumar stood as the runner-up.
- While the team of Sri Chirla Kiran and Shankar Kumar won the carrom doubles competition for employees under 45 years of age, the team of Ramesh Babu and Kodanda Chetty came the runner-up.
TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy held the coordination meeting with the heads and senior officers of various departments at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.
He reviewed on the arrangements to be made for the ensuing summer vacation pilgrim rush which will last till July.
As a part of it he directed the officials concerned to apply white-cool-cem paint at usual places in Tirumala, Srivari Seva Sadan, Akkagarla Gudi on First Ghat Road, once in a week during entire summer.
He also instructed to ensure proper power supply of electricity without causing any inconvenience to the administration as well to the visiting pilgrims during the summer.
Besides directed temple officials to keep sufficient buffer stock of laddus to cater the needs of the pilgrim public during the summer season and instructed Medical officials to keep sufficient stock of ORS sachets as a preventive measure for the sake of the pilgrim public.
Tumburu Theertham
He also reviewed on the arrangements of Tumburu Theertham which is scheduled on March 25.
As the torrent festival falls in the peak summer, he instructed the concerned to ensure the health safety and security of pilgrims. "Give wide publicity that physically fit pilgrims who are aged upto 60years alone will be allowed to trek the path. And also, pilgrims with obesity, heart ailments, asthma, other chronic diseases will not be allowed in view of their health safety'', he stressed.
Meanwhile, as the torrent fete falls on March 25, the devotees will be allowed from 5am of March 24 till 3pm of the same day. And again from 5am of March 25 till 11am of the same day.
Food and water distribution will be made by deploying a sufficient number of Srivari Sevaks. Deployment forest, vigilance personnel for the safety of trekking devotees all through the path, keeping ready medical teams and ambulance services, other safety measures have also been discussed in detail.
The EO also reviewed on the progress of other development works in Tirumala and instructed the concerned to complete the repair works in rest houses if any on time, in view of the ensuing summer rush.
CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy and other HoDs, senior officers were also present.
As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, on the evening of Tuesday, Srimannarayana blessed the devotees on Gajavahanam.
While the Gajarajas were walking in front of Vahanaseva, groups of devotees performed chekkabhajans and kolatams enhancing the grandeur of the Vahana Seva.
